The hotel is very cheek nestled in a small central neighborhood. The room was exceptionally spacious with a full size jacuzzi tub. It’s a “self check” in with staff, but they are not always present at the front desk.

Absolutely fabulous place.
Absolutely fabulous place. So much history and so much to see. The views are incredible from so many spots. Just loved wandering the streets and finding the little cafes and shops. It’s a challenge in some hilly spots for those of us on the older side but I definitely could see myself living there.

A interesting place with breathtaking but rather scary views. We were surprised at the amount of tourists around as we’d never heard of the place until recommended. 2-3 nights would be enough though and perhaps take in a walk.
Found a fantastic little bar - with spanish guitar and flamenco - open mic. - 15 Arroba. Very friendly staff too.

Provided info to open the key safe for the keys but no...
Provided info to open the key safe for the keys but no mention that there were 2 key safe’s & which was the one to use. Wouldn’t normally be a problem but the police would not let us park the car outside apartment block to even access the key safe
No info on how to exit/enter car park on foot.
Car park very tight turns and small spaces so not for a large car/ SUV without scratching paintwork
No indication that there were 3 staircase’s and we needed “C” which was across the courtyard
On arrival we found that a green glass dish on the kitchen island had a foot missing
The living room shutter was jammed about 30cm up & wouldn’t open or close.
The shutter in bedroom wouldn’t stay open as strap was broken
The corner bath with shower had no shower curtain so bathroom floor would get wet
There was a coffee machine but no pods supplied, we bought pods to find the machine turned on but wouldn’t dispense coffee
There is a hole in the floor by the internal terrace door

If you want to get the best out of Ronda visit attractions...
If you want to get the best out of Ronda visit attractions early in the day as the town gets packed with coach parties from 11 am.
You need 2 nights to get the most out of the city with a day in the old town.
You need to watch out for pickpockets in busy areas they usually work in gangs of 3 men with 2 stopping in front of a person so you can get past them with the third trying to get wallets and pursues the police know this goes on but look the other way so they do not get involved

Ronda is very much worth visiting.
Ronda is very much worth visiting. It has extremely beautiful views and a very interesting history.
But as a well known tourist magnet it is also very touristic. Get up early a clear morning and try to have the views for yourself. When the daily tourist buses arrive from the coast you will have to cruise among large groups of people.
Ronda is actually very much worth staying a few nights. They have excellent hotels, even the not so expensive ones. There are also many good restaurants.
Met by owner Anna and Sarah friendly. Sarah took my bags to room while I parked close by at their discounted rate. Room very clean, lots of outlets, comfortable. Breakfast was good, needed more protein gave me cheese. Seconds on Coffee. Great Location 5 minutes to main Ronda attractions, Gorge, Flamenco great show, restaurants. This is my 4th time in Ronda and Hotel Colon treated me like family. Affordable and great. Gracias Richard from Frisco, Texas.
We loved this little house, with exceptional views of Arriadh. It’s super near Ronda (10 minutes away by car), and gives you all the peace from nature, but convenience to visit everything in Ronda. The room was perfect. The hotel owners even organised a dinner for all the guests one night, where they cooked typical food from South Spain themselves. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a relaxing stress-free stay!
We just loved this little boutique hotel. A beautiful old palace with a unique interior design and very cozy rooms. The location is great to explore Ronda by walking. Very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, great service and you can park your car close by. The receptionist Pedro was extremely helpful and courteous. If you visit Ronda, Palcaio San Gabriel is the place to stay.
The Montelirio Hotel is perfectly situated in the city center of Ronda. One can easily and quickly walk to most of the attractions and the main shopping/dining areas in town. The heated towel racks and heated floors in the bathroom were a nice addition. We drove to Ronda and the hotel was very helpful on parking our car and having it available when needed.
The hotel was in an ideal setting with lovely gardens and beautiful views. The room itself was spotlessly, clean, quiet and large. The staff was exceptionally helpful. There was a restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent and a good value. Ronda was 10 minutes away, and other towns were easy and convenient drives from the hotel.
Parking in Spain is a big plus if you have a rented. Furthermore the apartment was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The sofa bed was super comfy and it can accommodate 4 people without any problem. The location was great, few minutes walk from the main attractions. Rafael was great, the check in was uncomplicated, contactless and super efficient.
It was amazing. Very Spanish stunning countryside and calm.and tranquil. The birds sing lovely all day. The swimming pool is in a field accessible by a little path from the Hotel ..its unique
Nearby Ronda town is a mere 10 mins away from the hotel.
I would go back for the peace and away from the pressure and mania of the world.
Go take a visit.
Our room overlooked the Bull Fighting Ring in Ronda, which by the way is the first bull fighting ring in all of Spain. The city is beautiful and we walked everywhere from our room. The view beyond the bull ring was breathtaking. There is a jacuzzi and pool on the roof of the building as well. The bar was great and the staff outstanding.
Situated just next to the newer of the two old bridges, the Hotel Don Miguel enjoys one of the best locations in Ronda, walkable to shops, restaurants, parks and many tourist sights. We reserved a Twin Room with a Terrace and Puente Nuevo view, one of the most famous in all of Spain. You pay a premium for it.
Location and view both excellent (easy walk to the tourist attractions but out of the melee). Breakfast was good with a wide range of options. Staff was helpful and friendly, if often stretched a bit thin. Terrace bar/cafe was nice and we appreciated the ability to get a snack at off hours for Spain.
A lovely, clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff all within walking distance from the centre of Ronda town, and only 5 minutes from the bus station. The views over the valley from the restaurant and swimming pool are stunning - perfect for watching the sunset with a drink in hand.
. The location was wonderful! The Maundy Thursday procession was the best we have seen in Spain, and we live here! It was literally outside our door.
It was in the heart of the historic town.
A comfortable apartment with sufficient facilities. Not glamorous but liveable
Our trip got a little complicated because of a sickness, however the staff was very helpful and responsive. We traveled around Spain for three weeks, and this apartment was easily the best place we stayed in. Definitely worth the money, I cannot recommend it enough
Beautiful old fashioned hotel in best location.
Ronda is a small but gorgeous place with breathtaking views. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and by far the most generous we had in comparison the other hotels.
Everything was great. Centrally located in Ronda. A boutique hotel with a lot of character that is also clean and well-maintained. Room was gigantic (we had a waiting room!).
It was a very cozy hotel with a super location. All the important sights of Ronda were within 15 minutes. The room was comfortable and clean. The receptionist was kind.
