Diamond Beach Resort is located in Ao Nam Mao, so it is a little bit removed from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang Beach and Railay Beach. To us this was a bonus because the resort was peaceful and relaxing and those attractions were located near enough to easily visit. The ferry to Railay Beach is a short 5 minute walk away and Ao Nang Beach is about a 10 minute drive. We rented a motorbike for ~ 8 USD per day and easily went back and forth between destinations.
The staff here is fabulous! Very kind and friendly, and always more than happy to assist with questions about sightseeing, finding restaurants and places to go, arranging transportation, etc.
The little beach cottages are very cute and well equipped with air conditioning, showers, and a mini fridge. A beautiful oasis to return to cool off and relax.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.
They have plenty of tours that they can book for you.
The free shuttle to Ao Nang was a great option (after 8pm you have to find your way back).
The resort is located in a quiet area next to amazing limestone cliffs, so was a nice place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang.
Make sure to stay in the new rooms closer to the beach, as they are great and MUCH better and renovated, the old ones are not nice at all and outdated.

I’m completely biased. I loved everything and everyone involved in the place.
No favourite thing. Many favourite things.
Jungle, sea, boats cars tuk tuk and all.
Most importantly I had the best guided tours on offer. Thank you. One and all.
Appreciated and greatful ❤️

The hotel was at the beach, but there was a pier just near. It looked beautiful but the water in ocean was dirty ant the beach also. There were old scrap and garbage on the beach and all around the hotel. the whole area was very shabby. The area was terrible. Hotel could be better if they would clean around areas

Quiet village with places to eat and small supermarkets. Great for the pier to get to Railay, 15 minutes long tail boat trip. You really need taxi/moped to get about. Beach is nice and runs for 1 mile and is mainly sandy

Ao Nam Mao is a little out of town if you are wanting to be in the thick of things.
However there’s a good bus service regularly or get yourself a scooter.
If you like the lush vegetation, noises in the trees at night then this is for you.
A great hidden area with enough to do or just laze around on that hammock and forget about work .

Calm place close to bigger and much more popular Ao Nang and Railay. About 10 places to stay - hotels, bungalows ... enough restaurants with really good Thai food, 3 bigger shops like 7-11. There is no “official” beach to swim

Villa Cha Cha is a 5 minutes walk to the Ao Nam Mao pier...
Villa Cha Cha is a 5 minutes walk to the Ao Nam Mao pier where you can take the long tail boats to Railay Beach. So convenient.
100Baht will get you there is 7 minutes.
Chill and hangout at the beach or have coffee at the numerous cafes.
This is by far the best accommodation I've been in for my 4-week trip in Thailand. The hosts were very helpful and gave us all the information we needed. We even booked 3 different day-tours through the host for a much cheaper price. Also, if you need anything (taxi, bus, ferry, etc.) I recommend you ask the host first, they might probably get you the best price for anything.
Other than that the room was confy and really clean. It is located in a quiet area, 5-minute walk away from Ao Nam Mao Pier, 10-minute drive away from Ao Nang.
The villa style rooms were large and spacious: fitted with a kitchen, living room and en-suite bathroom. While there were no amenities like a hotel gym, the overall resort was great value for money and the sleeping quarters were excellent. Breakfast and food in the restaurant were so delicious and very unique. I'd highly recommend their herb salad. The hotel grows all their vegetables and herbs on site. The best part about the hotel was the exceptional, friendly and super helpful staff. They really were the highlight of our stay.
I loved:
1. The lovely & well-designed room, lighting & fixtures (well-lit & you can go dark if you wish), large bathroom, double sink
2. Strong WiFi, full amenities
3. Lush gardens & private beach, well-maintained
4. Nice & quiet restaurant amidst the lush gardens and no pool/swimmers view, lovely background music
5. Awesome & friendly staff
6. Booked an island-hopping tour with a great group lead; group was small (abt 10) and lovely guests from other hotels in town and we were well-taken care of.
The beach at the hotel was not to stroll around (too rocky and the tide was high enough that you couldn't step down on the beach) but its nice to look at. The pool has a view of the boulder which looks nice during sunset.
The dressing room/ vanity was nice especially for friends so there's a private space to change and get dressed. The rooms have a swing outside and an outdoor sitting area.
It was a short cab ride away from Ao Nang beach (not too expensive).
The pool area was lovely and scenic! The hotel is really close to the pier where you can go to Railay beach easily. The hotel had a little convenience shop across the road which was great but if you’re after liveliness and places to eat you’ll have to go to Ao Nang. Taxis were expensive there for such a short trip (300/400 baht) and had to be ordered at the desk as grab didn’t work but on the way back a grab was always available at a fraction of the price 100 baht
I loved the bath tub that was on the private balcony... that's a unique touch. The room was quite big and also good space in the shower. Very clean and the are was also beautiful. Not around white sands and blue waters like other resorts, but the decor and restaurant is really great. They also offer free transport to the Ao Nam Mao Beach, but we didnt stay long enough to go.
Everything very great since we step our feet inside the hotel.. The reception was very helpful and nice.. We like him very kind person.. Room hygiene very excellent.. Bed and comfeter was very comfy and clean. All excellent and we satisfied and happy. Tqsm.. Will repeat again ya
Spacious room with great sea view. Calm and quiet area. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff. The hotel is located outside of the main Ao Nang area, which may be considered as a plus due to peace and quiet. We used Grab to get to main attractions (Ao Nang, Krabi town etc.)
Excellent quiet location : Baht : 200 One Way to Ao Nang Beach : Give Mr. Rim a call : +66 86 330 3530 . He is an excellent tricyle driver. Also excellent Canabis bar walking distance from Hotel plus around 5 restos / bars and 2 supermarkets within walking distance
Love this place. Stuff was so helpful this place is a small hotel -if you are looking for a wow fancy hotel- here is not for you..but if you are looking for a nice-- quiet--guilty --relaxed-- you could find it here. The Heaven View Krabi..
I just stayed here for one night but the hotel is lovely, as is the owner. The location might be great if you can use it as a base for trips to railay and phi en phi for example. It's cheap and comfy. The area itself isn't amazing though.
Beautiful location, very helpful.and friendly staff especially the two portors, sorry forgot their names one took us to the bus station
Maya also in restaurant.
Wpuld definitely recommend this hotel.free shuttle.service into beach area.
I loved the whole ambience, the pool, the view of the beach and the staff, they are the nicest!! Definitely recommend booking this hotel to everyone, who wants peace but also wants to be close to Ao Nang.
The best view in Krabi. At the end of a road with awesome view of rock formations. Best view of any hotel we stayed at. Free shuttle to Ao Nang beach each day was awesome!
