-Early check-in
-Clean room and nice sheets/towels
-Lovely patio in the garden where we could sit and have wine in the afternoon
-Very nice hosts who recommended the best reasonably-priced seafood buffet we’ve ever had in our lives at Jakob‘s Fish House (book before you get here as they fill up very fast)
-Also recommended by the hosts was a gorgeous walk along the river and harbor after stuffing ourselves with seafood. All within walking distance of the guesthouse.
-Safe storage for our e-bikes and right along the Eurovelo 12.
-Fabulous breakfast for purchase that included coffee/tea, fresh fruit/muesli/yogurt, homemade bread, jams, butter, and a hot egg dish.
-Coffee and tea was waiting for us in the afternoon when we arrived.
-Grocery store 500 meters away.
-The cutest French bulldog named Wilma was available to give pets and scratches to.

Good breakfast and a prefect little guest house !
It's called the deer lodge... We did not have any expectations to see any deer as we were staying only for 1 night and were on a thight travelling schedule.
But lo and behold, lucky for us just after leaving the B&B and exiting the driveway we saw a deer right in front of us staring at us :)
Our kids were delighted !
This property is located by a beach on Denmark’s Kattegat Sea coast, 6.2 mi south of Frederikshavn. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle.
The average price per night for a 3-star hotel in Sæby this weekend is $168 or, for a 4-star hotel, $300. Looking for something even fancier? 5-star hotels in Sæby for this weekend cost around $691 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
The proximity to the Frederikshavn ferry terminal - 15 minute drive as well as providing a good base for exploring northern Jutland and Sæby were the key factors for us in staying here. Both Torben and his wife made us very welcome and were able to make recommendations for our stay. Whilst the property is beside a busy road, the traffic reduced substantially in the evening and the windows of our room were effective in their sound proofing.
the best breakfast we had during our entire 6 day trip through all of Denmark (including both hotel and cafe). The owner was magnificent. the room big and gorgeous with an amazing coffee pot in the room. The location was magnificent. Our only regret is that we wish we had learned about it sooner in our trip so we could have stayed more than one night.
I thought the spa would have been either included in the price of stay or offered at a discount . When booking the hotel you would presume it is all included ... and we only got an email the day before arrival to say it was extra ... ?? Not good customer relations
everything. The location was great, the host was super nice, and the stay was simply amazing.
I loved stay there one of the best time I had in Denmark. I strongly recommend it 😊
