Ryo was an amazing host. He shuttled us to the mountain every day and was a great help. Although the property is so conveniently close to the train station, my friend and I still managed to almost miss our train to Sapporo… Ryo saved the day and drove us to the train station, carried both of our massive luggage bags up to the ticket booth, and helped us buy tickets just in time!

Kutchan is a lovely city with friendly locals and widespread English proficiency, making communication easy. There are plenty of options for renting or purchasing snowboard gear, which is convenient for enthusiasts. Overall, I will definitely return to Kutchan.

The ingredients and the cooking is first class. The staff is the most welcoming staff we ever met in Japan - and that is something. The open Bath is just great. The water is original onsen water. Relaxing in the rotemburo watching the clouds on Mount Yotei is paramount. The design of the room is a fantastic mixture of Japanese tradition and modern architecture. The room, the equipment, the furniture- all fantastic.

The owners were extremely nice and communicated everything well. There a bus stop for both directions at the entrance making it very accessible to either town. When I got hurt and had to go to the hospital the grandma at the property who used to be a nurse helped re bandage my ankle after the hospital didn’t do a good job and everyone checked on me every day. A very big communal area and very big capsule rooms (even the cheap one I got). Really appreciated being able to use a coin laundry and also the drying room for my snowboard gear. He dropped us off at the trail head at 0500 so we could start the walk early. The whole place was very clean, and the communal kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. It was a short walk to the train station and shops. If you're in Kutchan stay here. You won't regret it.

He carried our bags for us. The toilet is good. Warm toilet seat, adjustable pressure for water spray and even air dryer and air freshener after using the toilet! Niseko has changed a lot over the years with high end luxury hotels which really don’t belong in this once sleepy snow town. this is a family ran ski lodge with the most care and hospitality offered to guests. i’ve found my accommodation in niseko after visiting niseko for 15 years.
