The pool is very small but still fine, however, breakfast is so poor that I even prefer not to have breakfast at the hotel. staff was very nice and polite.

It’s good for one night.
Everything very clean.
Even though bathrooms are shared they were very clean.
Reception was a bit rude with me but not surprised coming from french people so it’s ok.

Amazing - so much io see in such a small area.
Try a fairly new restaurant, la table du maché. Very reasonable, no alcohol but who needs it when a lovely brochette of chicken with salad. Chips and roquefort sauce + bread is €14.50

A real find - not very touristy. Very friendly.
A real find - not very touristy. Very friendly. Great old town with lots of restaurants. Excellent street market (Saturday). Brilliant base to explore the two parks , Chartreuse and Massif de Bauges.
Much better than tourist swamped Annecy (do day trip only and avoid weekends!).
Do not miss a walk up to Charmettes.

I didn't think the hotel was as easy to find as others have suggested. The underground parking is good..... HOWEVER YOU HAVE TO BOOK A SPACE BEFORE ARRIVAL. This is not highlighted on the Booking.com website

The town is wonderful.
The town is wonderful. Old stonehouses and also palaces and great administrative old buildings in baroque and classical styles. Surrounding mountains add to the views. Sadly you could see quite a lot drug users and homeless and unemployed people.

We were on our way to Les Arc to ski so needed a somewhere to stay overnight that was conveniently close to the motorway. The Chambery Ibis hotel ticked all the boxes and allowed us to continue our journey completely refreshed, at a very reasonable cost.

My husband left valuable jewellery in room by mistake ..
My husband left valuable jewellery in room by mistake .. after email and 3 phone calls he could not get any result.
We are still trying to have his property returned .. the receptionist keeps saying they do not speak English and tell him to phone back.
Very distressing.
I picked this hotel in Chambery as the least expensive in the area. I did not have high expectations but I was incredibly surprised by how the personnel was available and nice, the location absolutely amazing (nightlife venues a few meters away) and room features. Parking areas a few meters away too (you can use EasyPark app). I will definitely choose this hotel for my next stays in Chambery!
We spent one night in Chambery on our way to Bordeaux. The room was nice. Location within walking distance to city center (15-20 minutes). Helpful staff. Wonderful parking arrangement (covered parking with controlled access so we could leave bike racks and 4 bikes attached to the car). Definitely a positive experience, good price/quality ratio.
This is a typical Campanile hotel. It worked well for us. The sound insulation was good so we did not hear much of the nearby road. We had a top/2nd floor room which had a good view. Wifi worked well. Food in the onsite restaurant was pretty good too. This is a good place for a stopover.
Extremely convenient when traveling by car as it is close to the entrance to Chambéry. In addition, a large and convenient parking lot is provided. The interior spaces are excellently developed - restaurant, bar, courtyard and pool. The rooms offer everything you need.
Staff very helpful, especially the cleaning lady who found my glasses before we left! There was nice view from the window of the roofs across Chambery, and we liked the bathroom which was pretty spacious and had an excellent shower.
Room was ground level which helped us with the dog and luggage. Local restaurant at Campanile was great to have as the food and service was excellent. Room comfy and clean. Staff friendly. We' d go again.
Hotel looks nice from outside, lobby.
It apparently has a swimming pool and sauna.
Room was spacious and the bed comfortable.
Close to the railway station and 2 decent restaurants + city center.
The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and our room seemed to be well sound-proofed from noise from the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The staff is very friendly and will take your request seriously. The hotel is well maintained and in the middle of the Old Town. Beautiful setting, we will be back
Very convenient for a stop off on the journey. We walked from hotel into centre of Chambery for the evening - fabulous old town. Parking available outside hotel
Excellent location. Lovely staff. If the hotel's car park is full they can offer alternatives; plenty of parking options nearby.
Clean room and nice breakfast.
The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. The location is good for a stop on a longer trip: near the motorway and a shopping center and restaurants.
