- Location - the hotel is just next to the Spittelmarkt U2 station. Very convenient - Staff - The receptionist was very polite, spoke English and explained to us everything we needed to know. There's 24/7 check-in desk, which was nice, because we had to leave at 4AM and someone had to open the door for us - Rooms - Rooms were a bit small, but had everything we needed, including clean towels, shampoo, hair dryer. The bed was comfortable - Lobby bar - Nice environment, comfortable chairs and dimmed light, plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

Berlin retains a small city charm as it is broken up into very distinct districts. There are at least two of everything given it's East/West past history Even has 3 opera houses. Plenty of green parks and a public transport system that is second to none. The 7 day pass for S/Bahn, U/Bahn, buses and trams worked out at under 6 Euros per day. Staying at the Lutzowplatz Radisson we had direct access to Unter Den Linden and the Kurfurstendamm plus taxi rank outside the hotel for the trip to the main station with heavy luggage. Good traditional German restaurants are still plentiful whereas in many other German cities they are being replaced with pizzeria. More museums and art galleries than any mere mortal can visit in a month.

Very interesting city, which (obviously) has lots of history. We visited in mid/late April so - like the UK - the weather is unreliable at that time of year. It was cold and wet during our stay, but we did have some fine/sunny weather too. We visited all the main sights - the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag Building, East Side gallery / Berlin Wall, Museum Island, and the Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe. Some of these are quite close together, some are deceptively far apart! Would recommend downloading the BVG tickets app and getting a 24 hour AB ticket so you can catch a bus, tram, or train (€9.90). We made the mistake of taking a stroll through Görlitzer Park after visiting the East Side gallery - it's beautiful, with lots of people and families, but this was juxtaposed by drug dealers absolutely every where. It's the only part of the city that we felt genuinely unsafe. Ironically, that was the same day (20th April) that a 420 rally was happening near the Brandenburg Gate (a stoner pro-cannabis event) which had a very strong police presence for, but there were no police at all where weed (and much more) were being peddled very openly! We also went to the Mauerpark Flea Market which is a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning, especially as the weather was fine. Overall, we had a lovely time in Berlin. We ate some incredible food, saw all the iconic landmarks, and had moment of quiet reflection at the memorials. Berlin is well worth a visit and we're very glad we came, but won't be rushing back.

Berlin is a really interesting city.

Berlin is a really interesting city. One could spent 3 weeks visiting expositions and locations every day and still not be able to see everything. Public transport is top notch. Food is not that great, I personally didn't like the food from the best 2 restaurants on Uber Eats at all. It was barely edible. Although, there are some great restaurants around the center.

I find Berlin a fascinating city.

I find Berlin a fascinating city. There is so much history and there are the old and new buildings to see, plus remnants of the Cold War. There are plenty of museums and other sites to see such as the Citadel in Spandau, Museums Island, Technic Museum, TV Tower, the East Side Gallery (remains of the Wall) and the Wall memorial along Bernauer Strasse. There is a huge choice of food and so many places to eat that you will never go hungry. The city covers a huge area but public transport is good and comparatively cheap; there are buses, trams and overground/ungerground trains. Finally, the historic city of Potsdam with its "Bridge of Spies" and palaces lies within the outer Berlin transport zone and can be reached in 30 to 40 minutes

Excellent transport connections with the bus, tram and train networks. I would recommend using the 24 hour day tickets for getting around the city. Useful maps are available at the BVB office at Alexanderplatz station. Visited Brandenburg gate,Siegessaüle,checkpoint Charlie and the excellent museumsinsel area.

The city is wonderful, though I spent my time in East Berlin, I'm sure it is true for the whole city. Where I was there are lots of cultural, and musical activities, including the Staatsoper unter den Linden. Other events, beautiful parks, friendly people and fantastic chocolate, especially Rausch Chocolate Shop on Charlottenstrasse. There are great shops, including the fabulous Dussmann music and bookstore. All within walking distance of each other. OTOH, the shops are all closed on Sundays, seems it a law. Restaurants and other attractions may be open.

We regularly stay here, as we like the hotel (friendly/helpful, clean, comfy) and the location (close to the Kudamm, Savigny Platz, Breitscheid Platz and Bahnhof Zoo). In addition, (a good) breakfast is included in the price, which isn't the case in many other hotels in Berlin/Germany these days. There can be some noise from the trains going past, with the S-Bahn track (also used by "normal" trains) running quite close to some of the rooms, but the sound insulation is pretty good.

The apartment was very comfortable, and excellently located - a quick tram ride to the central train station or subway ride to anywhere else in the city. I also paid for the breakfast, which was plentiful and the best I had at a hotel in Germany. The room has a working refrigerator (with small freezer), and the apartments even have access to a washer and dyer in the basement, which was unexpected and well appreciated. I would certainly stay here again should I return to Berlin.

location is great. Mitte is close enough to city centre to walk to the main sights but it’s also a great neighbourhood in its own right and had loads of lovely bars and restaurants. only ten minute walk from closest s-Bahn station on the S9 from the airport - meant we didn’t have to schlep all the way into Hauptbahnof Staff were all great very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean and modern and the hotel bar was great to chill in after long days out and about.

The hotel was exactly as promised, straightforward accommodation close to where I needed to be. I had a room at the back which was quiet. The hotel is also convenient for public transport - a tram stop just outside takes you to Adlershof S-Bahn (It is not also far to walk) from where you can easily get to Berlin city centre and BER airport. I would happily go there again if needed.

This is my 2nd time stay at this hotel. It is almost at city center. Our room was always clean. Very quite place. If we come to berlin again, we ll chose ibis mitte. Thank you.
