This hotel is an absolute gem in a fantastic location on the main street and overlooking the creek with amazing views into the mountains. The staff are welcoming and couldn't do enough for us during our stay.
The hotel is absolutely immaculate with large comfortable rooms.
We were there to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and we were upgraded to a creek view suite which was absolutely delightful. I really can't recommend the Golden Hotel enough.

We visited Lookout Mountain and the grave of buffalo bill.
We visited Lookout Mountain and the grave of buffalo bill. Great views here and a free attraction.
the Coors Brewery we attended for a tasting (the tours book up far in advance so be sure to book ahead). The tasting is good value for money and the staff were informative and friendly! The tasting room is nice and has lots of historic photographs to check out! Of course there is a gift shop with some great souvenirs and pricing was not bad!
We went to a concert at Red Rocks outside of Golden and we highly recommend checking this place out!
We would have liked more time to check out downtown Golden so we will need to return!

Love, love this town.
Love, love this town. You have to try the Buffalo Rose and make sure you try the Deli in the center of town ... best sandwiches. The Tea Shop called Old BarrelTea is an absolute must and the liquor store directly behind it as well lots of local bourbon whiskey and spirits. Love the pace and the friendly people here and its BEAUTIFUL!

Lovely small college town hidden right next to Denver.
Lovely small college town hidden right next to Denver. The Colorado School Mines and Coors are the big draws. However the food scene in really good and there are plenty of shops to keep you interested. Great place to live, study and visit.

Golden is my favorite place to stay when visiting CO.
Golden is my favorite place to stay when visiting CO. It is close to Denver downtown, as well as the outdoor recreation of the Rockies. The city is clean and has markedly less drifter and homeless folks than Denver or Boulder.
The microbrewery out near table mountain (New Frontier, I think) is a great place to spend a Saturday. Local venders, brewers, dogs and their owners all come together for music, shopping and entertainment on their very spacious patio. They also have some low difficulty trails and a dog park right there at the brewery!
Table Mountain Inn is very charming and has very kind and helpful staff. Unless you are on a very tight budget, do your best to avoid the La Quinta.

Lots to see and do here, besides the obvious front range...
Lots to see and do here, besides the obvious front range location for fastest commuter access to Summit Count skiing. Be sure to swing by Lookout Mountain and Buffalo Bill Cody site, also visit the park nearby to see the bison herd. Red Rocks amphitheater including the Rock & Roll museum is worth a half day. You can hike there across the ridge from Morrisey park down the road, in good weather, takes a few hours round trip. Worth a visit to historic downtown Golden, you can kill a whole day exploring there, plus tours available if you don't want to self guide.
The house is a lovely, historic home with antique furnishings to match the time period. The upgrades to the home to make it a b&b were well done and don’t detract from the original
architecture. It is close to downtown Golden and all the sights in the area. The breakfast was excellent and the Judy made accommodations for my food allergies. Both Dennis and Judy were kind, thoughtful and helpful hosts. The accommodations were comfortable with nice touches like Jolly Ranchers in the room, Jolly Rancher originated in Golden.
The kitchen was well equipped even thou we did not use it as we chose to eat out to the many great restaurants in Golden, Evergreen, etc.
It is an updated apartment, very nicely decorated, bed was very comfortable and I loved the walk in closet to use as a changing area and spread out my clothes.
The owner, Max, was very quick with a response to all my questions.
House had everything needed for guests. had many little thoughtful things like nice lotion, body wash, snacks, info about local events and places to visit. Owner kept in touch and offered help if needed. Location was absolutely perfect, quiet neighborhood and easy to walk to downtown Golden and family's house. Trails very close to walk and beautiful area.
The location looks very new and was very clean. The style of the hotel was perfect for the area it was in and made our stay just that much more enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and also very stylish, we plan on coming back!
I liked the location in the center of Golden and the room size were very comfortable for us. Check in and out was easy and smooth. Staff was in general very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend the Golden Hotel.
Clean and proximity to restaurants and shopping. You can walk to everything in downtown Golden. Can I give a 10+++++++ to the valet staff. Great group who are on staff 24/7. Very accommodating and hard working bunch.
While the room was clean and tidy, they gave us a room less than 20 meters from an interstate highway there was far to much noise elevator did not work, and breakfast not good. wrong location to have a hotel
The hotel was really nice. The breakfast definitely worth getting because it was really good. The hotel was close to everything I wanted to do - especially Red Rocks. I would definitely go back.
Bed was really comfortable. Normally our back will hurt after sleeping in hotel beds but this one was good! Great location & nice views of the foothills. Front desk employees were all friendly.
Room smelt like dog the whole time. The sheets on the bed had blood stains everywhere. There was never breakfast in the mornings. All in all I liked nothing about this hotel
Close to Golden and Denver with several routes to both areas. Waffle bar was nice and had several toppings to customise. Pool area was ok but limited seating.
