Great location, beautiful view from the room, sea side, fantastic Olympic pool; excellent breakfast, outstanding welcome from the General Manager (Nitichai Nakornmuang and quality service from Miss BEE (Front Office Manager)
Breakfast was outstanding. Bacon and scrambled eggs most mornings but the wife (who is Thai) had Thai breakfasts and we both absolutely loved the food there including the dinners. Overall costs for additional food etc was excellent as was the actual food!
The owners Craig and his wife were outstanding from a service and human perspective and i would highly recommend the Hideaway as the place to stay in Ban Chang.
Wanted so much to live in the pool but unfortunately had a foot injury but it looked sensational and other guests commented so.
I booked an AirB&B a little ways away from the beach. Bad move. I did the whole tourist walk thing and found myself exhausted so I booked a night at this hotel to refresh and recharge. Amazingly helpful and courteous staff. They spoke enough English to make the transaction painless. Rooms are some of the nicest SCN rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The restaurant downstairs is great! Had salmon and mashed potatoes. Overall great hotel choice.
We have stayed and visited the SCN hotel many times, we enjoy their membership which allows us access to so many special events and facilities.
Last Saturday we took the opportunity to enjoy an awesome afternoon tea shared between 4 of us. The team are always so welcoming, and the food and tea, exceptional.
Shout out to Tukta and Eddie, as well as the Chef for looking after us so much.
Looking forward to our next visit.
Amazing setting right on beach. Lovely staff and hands on GM. When her card machine didn't work she said I could pay the next day but I went to the village for cash . Very comfortable bed, and beautiful bed linen. Nice toiletries. Nice cooling off pool. Not big enough to swim really. Really enjoyed our time there despite the hickups. I totally love the hotel. Recommended
My third visit to The Lord Nelson and once again I enjoyed my 3 day stay. No need to go outside because the restaurant and beautiful bar can provide any desired need. Being able to open the doors and see the ocean is spectacular. I also loved walking out back and down the beach in the morning. Looking forward to my next visit.
We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the staff were nice, the outdoor area was amazing especially that we had our pet during the stay. It’s location is close to Nangram Beach. The place is affordable for a family. I recommend it to those who want peace and quiet area to stay in Sattahip. They are pet-friendly 😊
