Very nice hotel, close to the city center and with an amazing view on the lake. My room was newly refurbished, it was very nice and clean. Communication with staff was smooth and they were also very helpful. Hotel has an amazing rooftop terrasse with a great view on the lake and mountains, unfortunately the weather was nice only the last day of my stay so I could not enjoy it so much, but it is one other reason to visit again. Highly recommended

We have stayed before and will stay again. The staff, breakfast, comfortability of the rooms plus we also ate in the evenings, everything was very good.

I cannot thank enough to all the staff of Hotel Federale, they are all AMAZING and not only well prepared for their job, but they take care of each customer with heart, trying their best to make the staying a wonderful experience.
The staff at reception is fantastic, during our stay each one took time to ask if we are ok, took on their one initiative to bring a baby bed in our room, the restaurant staff was every day very careful that our baby was eating and was sitting comfortable.
Thank you to all and for sure we will be back in not too long time from now

Offering stylish rooms with free WiFi, the design Hotel Gabbani is centrally set on Lugano‘s Piazza Cioccaro Square. The Main Train Station is reachable by the city cable car, only 50 metres away.

Switzerland is plenty of wonderful places. This is not one of them.
Everything here is low quality; the worst quality I've never seen compared with Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and the rest of Switzerland.
Accommodation is noisy, dirty and poor.
Not as kindly as inner Switzerland or as in Italy.
Here everything is a mess, disordered, stressing and against the visitors: they do not like tourists.
We left one day before and stayed the trip back to our home in Ur and Schwyz Kantons, much nicer, cheaper and cleaner.
For sure, I live in Zürich, and I never go back to Magliaso or even Lugano.
