The Downtown area is roughly midway between San Francisco Bay and the Santa Cruz Mountains and houses the Civic Center, Convention Center and nearby Institute of Contemporary Art. Other museums are the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum and Winchester Mystery House whose owner kept rebuilding it in an attempt to keep out ghosts, though apparently she may not have succeeded…

The population in San Jose is more diverse than any place I've visited. Welcoming people. All kinds of ethnic food available. Beach is an hour away. No one lays on their horn when you're driving! Amazing.

The area around the hotel was perfect.
The area around the hotel was perfect. It was close to the office I needed to be at every day, close to some very great restaurants, and close to Fed Ex which I need to do some traveling office work. Frankly, this hotel in the area it is in is awesome. I strongly recommend the Flemingo Hotel to all that need to stay in the area of San Jose.

Food and services were expensive.
Food and services were expensive. I had paid $6 for a brownie from a nearby milk bar next to my hotel and I was prompted to tip for take away. Open air car park next to Westin San Jose was $25 to $30 per night.

San Jose is an expensive place for traveller if you don't have a job. It is not the right city for budget traveller, but it could be paradise for rich people. Stop having daydream, and finding a job is the best way to stay in San Jose.

It was a short stay in San Jose, like I said traffic is very busy. Alot of great restaurants near this hotel. They did have a bar with service for food, but nothing that I wanted. I wanted comfort food, something hot, besides a burger or tacos. Hotel Decor was really nice, if you enter after hours to get inside using other doors beside the front entry, guest must use their room key, great security for keeping unwanted people out. I did see Security walking the parking lot at night and security near the front entrance.
Even though the inn was less than a mile to Mineta San Jose Airport, excessive noise was not an issue. Room climate control quite simple to use. Nice television with optional remote control through smartphone by scanning QR code on home screen of TV. Accoutrements included coffee machine, small refrigerator and microwave oven. Ample parking though I don't believe inn was at full occupancy. Restaurants (mostly fast food), service station w/convenience store in close walking distance.
The property was impeccably clean, cleaner than most of the 4★ accommodations at which I've lodged recently!! The innkeeper was dutiful and meticulous. All staff interactions were pleasant and efficient. Internet was adequate for remote work, including data transfer and video conferencing. I am pleased that there is an economical and clean option in downtown San Jose. I also appreciated proximity to The Studio Climbing Gym and the seasonal farmers' market (on Wednesdays).
Everything was nice and smooth from the beginning...starting at the front desk. Very professional and nice front desk service and attentive too.
All throughout the hotel was nice and clean. The room was also very clean and the bed was super comfortable.
We honestly chose this hotel because it had free parking and breakfast included. But it was way beyond that. This place is a great stay :)
Good things--the hotel has been updated and modernized so the rooms are very clean and the beds are nice and comfy - so I have no complaints there. The staff was good--some more helpful than others. The neighborhood is so so--but its quite close to the airport if you need that, which we did. Overall, this hotel is a good option if you don't need parking and also internet
Enjoyed my stay in Four Points by Sheraton San Jose Downtown for 16 nights, everything was perfect, the management allowed me to change my room after arrival, nice location, close to many restaurants and cafes, public transportation, close to San Jose State University where my son is a student. I will recommend to everyone. Would stay again for sure.
Location was perfect, literally a stone’s throw away from downtown. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, the owner Nick proved outstandingly kind and available. The adjacent - and amazing - coffee shop also made up for breakfast not being included. The area was calm and safe. I do recommend
everything ! honestly will book at this location again for future family trips to San Jose , per husbands request and he usually lets me choose hotels but he feel I love with everything about it ! it’s very family friendly and the breakfast is pretty good ! definitely recommend !
This was an excellent hotel with very accommodating staff. They arranged free airport shuttle transfers and printed my boarding passes. Nice surroundings and clean, comfortable room. All in all, a great stay for San Jose Airport.
The location is great - Downtown san Jose so it's very easy to get around. Also the building is watched 24/7 so it feels safe. Everything is pretty new and it even includes in-unit laundry. Exceed the value and cannot ask more.
stayed the night before a flight from San Jose. the location is great for the airport and the rooms are quiet enough for us to sleep despite the planes. the bed was large and comfortable. the room was clean and well maintained.
Great room size and bathroom size. Plenty of parking and very friendly staff. Close to the airport and easy check in and check out process. Swimming pool and hot tub was a nice bonus.
Very close to San Jose Airport. The Light Rail stop is "Just around the corner". The size of the room was good and the bed was comfortable. Nice and clean pool with towels provided.
The location and staff were amazing! Would highly recommend staying here if you’re going to be enjoying downtown San Jose. You can make all to great restaurants and bars.
