stayed for 4 nights. everything was very good. the beds are comfortable, the internet is stable, hot water in the shower. The restaurants under the window are almost inaudible and close at 12, then silence. Breakfast has a good selection, tea and coffee are free. The hotel is very quiet, only the air conditioner in the room was noisy. but it’s not really needed, it’s not hot in the room. cleaning was every day

Kotor is magically beautiful, both the Old Town and the setting in the Bay of Kotor. It is, however, seriously overtouristed. Loads of people coming off cruise ships make the narrow alleys of the old town almost impassable.... the place is best early in the morning or late at night. The climb up to the fortress is great. Most of the restaurants serve pseudo-Italian food which is not of the highest quality. Self-catering may be best! Kotor is not cheap by comparison with other places.

Kotor is a lovely medieval town, full of history, charm and winding streets. There are restaurants and bars aplenty with a varied selection of food and drink etc, but it is very hard to park so if you can get by without a car then do so. There are buses , taxis, water taxis so getting around is fairly easy
When the cruise ships are in it gets very busy so bear this in mind.

The views were amazing and memorable. The boat cruise a must.
The drive up to Lovćen was very windy and narrow so don’t do it if you’re nervous about heights. We also drove to Dormitor National Park which reminded us of Switzerland and that road was excellent.

The city is very beautiful, walled, full of churches and history. I didn't like the attendants in stores, restaurants, bus stations. I found people to be rude to tourists, grumpy and unwilling to help. I consider it destiny to meet only once.

The Old Town is beautiful, with lots of good restaurants & bars. Highlights for us were the Cable car although make sure it is a clear day or you'll see nothing. The walk up the the fortress, there are 1350 steps so a hard climb, but the views are fabulous. Visit to Perast which is a very pretty village, we did a taxi there (€25) and a speed boat back (€60 for 3 of us). We did a boat trip to the Blue Cave, however disappointingly we couldn't go in as our boat was too big for the weather conditions. We think the captain new this before we paid and departed but took us anyway so make sure you check before you book.

We had been to Kotor before and love it. 4 days is plenty of time to spend here. In the summer it is very busy and very noisy, into the early hours of the morning. Kotor is a very beautiful town and the trip up the mountain by cable car is well worth it. If possible take a boat trip around the bay. Be aware that within the city walls the pavements are very rough and there are a lot of steps to many of the apartments. Hotel Hippocampus has a great roof bar and Dino the waiter is lovely
The resort is very relaxing and comfortable , staff were amazing they really make it feels like home, especially the concierge George ( as we call him since we can’t pronounce his mountenegro name), he is beyond amazing goes out of his way to make your stay the most comfortable and fun, staff were so kind to a point that the bellman ( a very sweet young guy ) gave us a ride on his way to the old town on our first day thanks to him and all the wonderful staff for making our trip in Montenegro a memorable trip
We were traveling from Macedonia to Croatia and Kotor , Montenegro was our middle stop for 3 nights and we couldn’t have chosen better! Vido and his family are very welcoming and the apparent is all you can ask from a authentic family stay in Kotor. it has a small private beach that Vido cleans each morning - it is just great! its located a stone throw away from old town Kotor which you can explore. There are also some great restaurants around the house to enjoy a nigh out by the Kotor bay. A Great stay!
The location is quiet and has a view of the Bay of Kotor. The staff are all exceedingly friendly and eager to make your stay comfortable. When I pointed out that the shower wasn't draining well, it was fixed within the hour, and the person who came (one of the family who have run the hotel for decades) noticed that the sink faucet was spraying too widely and immediately fixed that as well. The breakfast was excellent too. There's a tiny gravel beach across the street for an end-of-day swim as well.
We can’t say enough about this apartment and our host. She met us at the apartment and was so hospitable and kind and always available to answer questions we had.
The apartment itself is in a perfect location, only a minute walks from market and about five mins or so to walk to Old Town. It’s quiet, with parking, comfortable beds and well equipped everything. I looked at a lot of places in Kotor and I’m very happy I chose this apartment. You will feel like you are at home for your stay here.
This hotel is in a great location, far enough away from the old town and all of the cruise folks but close enough to get there quickly. The staff at Forza Terra are exceptional and we felt so comfortable during our stay - everything is pristinely clean and well kept. We stayed at Forza Mare last year and were really looking forward to our stay at Forza Terra…it certainly did not disappoint! Looking forward to visiting Forza Terra again on our next trip to beautiful Montenegro!
In the walls of the old town, attic apartment with I called the penthouse.
Great facilities and great balcony to sit out on.
At night the saxaphone player in the restrunt t below entertained us having a glass of wonderful montenegro wine.
Host was fantastic helped with anything we needed and booked us on his dad's speed boat for a tour , which was fantastic.
If you want a great location , great room , great host in the most beautiful place . Book this room .
Excellent!!! I liked this property so much. The host is very friendly and helpful woman. We had so beautiful view from the balcony as at the photos on booking. It takes me three minutes to get to the beach. The beach more comfortable than similar others at this part of the bay of Kotor, especially near private beach of the nearest hotel. Store is on the path to the beach. Prises are acceptable. Kitchen has all facilities. Towels were changed each day.
English:
This hotel is located in Old Town Kotor (in the medieval fortress) - absolutely stunning. Great shops around and only a 7 minute walk to the local beach.
Hotel restaurant is amazing. Staff is extremely helpful and speaks great English.

Fenomenalan hotel na odlicnoj lokaciji u starom gradu Kotor. Odlicne prodavnice I gradska plaza je na samo 7 minuta pesacenja. Hotel je odlican i radnici su predivni i uvek tu da pomognu.
Perfect location, just a few steps from the old town. The apartment is very cozy with everything you might need. When I was there they had a parking spot just for us and well, if you know anything about Montenegro if you are in a car you will ABSOLUTELY need it as parking is impossible. The road is super busy, but actually its more convenient than some other roads which might be tricky. I would stay there again for sure.
The location was really good, accessible from Kotor old town with the bus, but still enough distance from the crowd to ensure a good night sleep. Size of room is also adequate for solo traveller. Beatiful place and well designed apartment. The best pillows and cover we had ever had! Very close to the sea side path with the restaurants, which turns you into old town- 10 minutes walk only. Fantastic and extremely friendly owner Slobodan. I will really recommend this place 👌!!! Thank you for very nice experience at Kotor and Montenegro 🇲🇪!!!
The owner sent clear instructions for check in and answered our questions over WhatsApp as it was a public holiday in Montenegro. The room was so lovely and spacious with an amazing view from the windows, and it was in a beautiful part of the Old Town about 2 min walk from North Gate. They provided cold water fountain which was nice.
Antika guesthouse was absolutely perfect for our first visit to Montenegro. The room was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed.
Location was amazing - in the heart of the old town and the staff at Antika couldn’t be more helpful.
Overall, it was a fantastic trip & Antika Guesthouse was a huge part of this.
Very modern hotel (rare in Monténégro!) and first real 4-star we experienced in the country.
Very good location (5 min walking to old town)
Breakfast is served at your table (not a buffet) and is good, very nice staff, very clean and nice rooms. Parking is provided for free. I would recommend !!
Beautiful little hotel in the heart of old town Kotor.
Easily accessible parking just outside the old town walls.
Helpful, friendly staff.
Comfortable bedroom, gorgeous decor.
Tasty, plentiful breakfast.
I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central hotel in Kotor.
Studio Konos is runned by 2 brothers who are really kind people. If you are coming to Montenegro by plane, they can pick you up from Tivat airport and drive you to the studio which is located at the beginning of the old town... away from the noise! We definitely recommend studio Konos!
At the Old Wine House Montenegro we stepped back in time in the Old Town.
This house was built in the 12th Century as a wine and olive oil warehouse.
Truly amazing to live with so much history around us. Fascinating.
The apartment was new, warm and clean. Location ideal to discover the old town. The owners left a bottle of montenegro wine which was a nice surprise and went down well. The owners were lovely to deal with.
Lovely hotel, yards from the entrance to the old town, next to two supermarkets and minutes from the small Kotor beach. Staff were really friendly and my room was huge/lovely - highly recommended.
