A great stop in the middle of puenta la Reina. The lady at the desk was gracious and accommodating. My wife had blisters after walking the Camino de Santiago and the staff did everything they could to help make us comfortable. The room was amazing with a perfect view of the neighboring church and the build ing was a true piece of Spanish history.

The apartment was well appointed including two separate bedrooms, bathroom/toilet and kitchen/ Lounge. I had breakfast in before returning to the Camino.
On the level below is probably Puente La Reina’s best restaurant/wine bar where we enjoyed both dinner and pre dinner food and wine.

Beautiful little town, everywhere is a detail to admire, great wine bar at the end of the Main Street and after 100mts you can admire the bridge and the river from a beautiful resting garden. Definitely worth it to stay for a night.

The reception staff spoke fluent Spanish and English, and they were incredibly helpful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and new. There were washing and drying machines available for use by guests, which gave me a chance to clean all of my hiking clothes and towels, etc. The hotel has a restaurant attached and a bar, both of which offer excellent choices and value and are frequented by locals, so a good sign.

I walked 40 km to my next destination of the Camino to realize I had forgotten my passport. After goi g crazy for an hour I called the hotel and they told they had found it and they had thought of putting it inside my luggage that was being transported from stage to stage no opened an outside pocket and found my passport with cash and credit cards. They saved my trip. Thank you, thank you

The entire property was scrupulously clean. My room (I requested a single) was small, but very charming, with a pleasant view. The bed was very comfortable, with nice linens, and the bathroom (though also small) was clean and modern. The buffet breakfast was quite nice, with many choices, and a great start to the day. Also we loved the outdoor courtyard and bar, enjoyed sitting outside in the afternoon with fellow pilgrims. Maybe the best thing about this hostel is that I think it's the first one you come to when you get to town, so if you're tired, you're so glad to see it!AlisonGermany

When we asked for an explanation, the driver just drop our luggage and left, the person who checked us in, in a rushed way, said that it was the same property! Overbook can happen, but it can be dealt in a nice way.

Was clean and slept well. It is not quite in the town so short walk along road to get to centre if you don’t want to eat in hotel.
