From the moment we walked in everything was welcoming and well done. This is a great example of how the hospitality industry should be. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again. Thank you!

The room was lovely, great aesthetic. The bath was wonderful really large and soft stone looking into a private little garden. The shower had a lovely rain shower-head which is always nice.
The bed was the most comfortable we have ever had in a hotel. It was firm which was perfect for us.
The heated pool was really deep and a great size.
Overall it was a really lovely stay I would and have recommended it to family and friends.

My stay at The Swell was absolutely great! From the staff being so attentive and friendly, and the property being so stunning! Loved the decor and the location was perfect. I got lost a few times in the big super cosy and comfy bed :) was in town for the tango festival so didn’t spend much time using the facilities. Next time for sure! Loved it!

The room was really great, really fancy and very new amenities, the balcony was really private. The pool was also great! The shampoo, body wash, body milk etc smelled amazing and felt really good quality. You get a turndown service with homemade chocolate every evening. The breakfast is a la carte, the food is great and very special.

The Surf House is a great budget place to stay if visiting Bryon. The staff are friendly, the facilities are excellent and the place is clean and quiet. The Wi-Fi works well and there are lots of desks and power points if you also need to do any remote work. It is close to the beach, restaurants and cafes. There is also a (paid) under cover car parking option which is handy.

Lovely place to visit, great scenery & plenty of things nearby to enjoy. The only sore point is parking in the CBD. Wherever you go, you have to pay for parking until 6pm, $5.00 per hour. We mostly had dinner at the Beach Hotel, good food at great prices. Specials on every night.

Byron Bay has a pleasant environment, a vibrant atmosphere, and very friendly locals. The streets are clean, with shops, cafes, and restaurants that make you feel very welcome.
Enjoyed the city a lot. The lighthouse marks the most east point of Australia. The main beach is great with tourists, locals, and surfers. The Tallow beach has surfers also but its extension makes you feel almost alone in paradise, surrounded by little creatures. I haven´t the time to make the trip on the solar train. It is a 3 km shuttle service, between North Beach and Byron Beach.

Otherwise very pretty scenery and waterfront, more suitable to younger people, to whom it appears to cater.
Lots of surfing enthusiasts.

I’ve watched Byron change over the last thirty years and am pleased to see that it still retains remnants of its surfing/hippie culture (not enough for me but some nonetheless) I’m not a fan of the glossy influencer elements that have commercialised the town and made it inaccessible to some people BUT the natural beauty and sacredness of the location will always have my heart 🌈💕🌊 Best coffee ever!

It was our first time to Byron.
It was our first time to Byron. We loved the friendly welcoming nature of the locals, the diversity of the travellers and the cleanliness of the town. The restaurants and pubs had something for everyone, ample shopping options and great cafes. the beach was always pristine and clean.
Beyond Byron we explored Lismore, Bangalow, Teven and Nimbin and loved everywhere we went, with equally welcoming locals.

Great Restaurants, shops and wine bars with amazing food.
Great Restaurants, shops and wine bars with amazing food.
We ate at Bang Bang, modern Asian the first night beautiful setting, the best red duck curry we have ever had and fantastic service.
There are a lot of Mexican, Asian and Japanese restaurants but something to suit everyone.
We ate at Three Blue Ducks which was dissapointing and expensive.
We took a hot air baloon flight over Byron Bay, everyone should do this it was perfect.
Near by places to visit are Bangalow a charming village with an amzing bakery and great shops, only 15 min drive away.
The location is excellent and you get all the information about the guesthouse and the area on an app, which is very handy. It's cosy, clean and well equipped. I loved that there are all the little things that make a difference. Byron Bay is a heaven on earth. And you'll get everywhere form Barbara's, it's easy to access all the beaches (I rented a bike) the lighthouse and basically everything. Farmers's market is nice on Thursday morning. I absolutely recommend this place, I will come back for sure, but for more days:)
My friends and I had a fantastic girls' weekend stay at this property! The place was beautifully decorated and very spacious, and we loved the backyard with a table to enjoy our morning coffee. The location is perfect, within a few minutes walking distance to the heart of downtown Byron Bay. The beds were very comfy and the wifi worked perfectly, which was great for playing music on the TV before heading out for the night. Would definitely stay again!
Tiff, the daughter of the owner, is an absolute gem - she picked me up at my shuttle's drop off location to take me to the hotel, made several recommendations for places to eat and things to do that were wonderful, and contributes to a very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. My room had a lovely balcony that made me feel like I was living in a tree house and listening to the surrounding birdlife is an extraordinary experience.
Despite being small, it was modern, clean and well kept. It was close to Byron bay, only 10 minutes by foot. The cabins are very open, with a shaded outdoor seating area, plus communal areas to barbecue. There were laundry/toilet/shower facilities, which I didn’t use. Crockery and cutlery provided in cabins, sponges and washing up liquid in the dish washing area - just great!
The hotel is across the road from the beach and has restaurants and shops within walking distance. It was a nice hike to the lighthouse. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. They made dining recommendations and each restaurant had amazing food, all within minutes of the hotel
The location of this property is truly exquisite. The home is lovely, very clean, comfortable, quiet and filled with lots of natural light. Our host Louise was absolutely amazing, loved her. We didn't want to leave, we will never forget our trip to Byron Bay.
The house was in walking range to almost everything. We enjoyed the room as it felt very at home. The shared spaces were nice aswell. We were also happy about being offered early check-in, due to cleaning being completed ahead of time.
Every single part of it beautiful house great location ! We enjoyed the distance from town the walks home on the boulevard after dinner ! Staff were very good/ so nice . We loved Byron bay very relaxed people there
Bed was fine, location was awesome. I particularly liked the very trendy cafes directly opposite the hotel. I tried them all, and they were all very nice ! Staff were helpful and nice.
Central location with underground parking which is crucial in Byron Bay. Spacious unit with courtyard. Dishwasher and washing machine. Pet friendly! Nice enough pool area.
Great location, access to Tallow's beach (pet friendly beach), nice coffee shop at the entrance.
You can walk to Byron Bay.
After hours process was easy to follow.
Location not directly in town but very short walk to the center, and direct access to the beach is a huge perk! Maybe the cheapest laundry you’ll find.
