The room was actually two rooms plus ensuite. It was very comfortable cosy bed we slept well. The bar on Bonfire night was busy with locals so quite interesting.

We were told initially that for the type of room I’d requested, we wouldn’t be able to get a sea view room. When we arrived we found that we had in fact been given a sea view room! Which was a nice surprise.

Beautiful property ideally located on the promenade. Room was well maintained and spacious, very comfortable and overlooking the sea. Staff were exceptional and very friendly. Pete was very welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. He clearly loves his job and is an excellent ambassador for the Halvard Hotel. Rachel, Chloe and Grace also very friendly and efficient.
