There was building work being carried out nearby so some early noise was heard

Comfortable hotel with pleasant staff and situated near to local amenities and beach. Good views from the garden of the inner waterway.

Didn’t quite like that they spread all the dining facilities into the Lounge on the Monday evening so we couldn’t use the lounge area initially, but they did make space for us later. There was some building noise from nearby construction, but that isn’t the hotel’s fault, and it didn’t spoil our trip at all.

Location was great, near the beach and backing onto the waterways. Very intimate boutique hotel, Very comfy bed with lovely linen. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely pool area and an area to dine near the waterway if you are inclined.

We stayed not in the main house, so the location is not on the inlet. Not very sunny at the pool, because of the surrounding high buildings.

A nice spacey place. Very clean. Very friendly staff.

Fifth visit - never fails to disappoint - a hidden gem

We noticed a few of the pool sunbed towelling covers had rips in them and often there were not fresh covers nor towels available, although if we asked they were soon supplied. The festoon lighting on the pool deck is a welcome addition and adds to the atmosphere, but blown bulbs need to be replaced otherwise it looks a little shoddy.

It was our fifth stay at the property - we love the location and the relaxing atmosphere at the hotel. The secret garden restaurant is also excellent with great choices and excellent dishes.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. I have stayed at the Pillars twice now and enjoyed it on both occasions. I would stay there again.

I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff who worked there. They were incredibly helpful. I also really enjoyed the food. In particular the option to have your room service set up on the table outside your room. The sun loungers were very comfortable with elasticated towels. There is also lemon water available throughout the day to stay hydrated. Lots of little touches which is why I enjoy staying at a smaller hotel.

Very pretty small hotel which made it feel very personal. The rooms were well furnished and comfortable and everything we needed them to be. only slight issue was the air conditioning was very noisy other than that it was perfect. The location is great and we would highly recommend this hotel.

Front desk staff were pleasant but not terribly helpful regarding basic stuff: where to eat, etc. We relied heavily on concierge desk at the Ritz for basic info - like maps and resto suggestions.

Location was great. Loved how quiet and tranquil. No loud music by the pool or anywhere so it was pleasant to sit and read or do whatever. Resto staff were awesome.

Very nice small boutique hotel in FLL. Pool and restaurant have really nice waterfront views. We loved eating breakfast at the pier. Food is great by the way. Rooms is clean and comfortable. Bathroom is average size. Rooms near the reception are a bit noisy. Seems like they area bit short on staff at the reception.

Nothing really, could do with a bit of upgrading but that wasn't detrimental to our stay.

This hotel lives up to its description. It is just off the main beach (200yd walk) and is close to the water ferry which you can catch at the bridge nearby. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful and made us feel most welcome. It was great to walk out of our ground floor room to the pool/loungers just 10 feet away. Dinner was an excellent experience sitting by the water and it is clear that it is a very popular choice for the locals.

Being a small luxury hotel, we expected a little more service. There is no elevator and we had to carry our heavy bags upstairs. Also the bathroom was tiny, like uncomfortably tiny. I realize they cannot do anything about this since it is an older facility.

Very quaint hotel with an extremely nice staff. Private restaurant was very good and magical on the water.

Booking thru Booking.com did not allow me to make reservations at the hotel restaurant. When we arrived, we asked about dining and we were only able to book 1 of 2 nights and had to eat earlier than desired.

Staff was amazing and personable. We were not just a room number. Setting was perfect, quiet, relaxing. The Pool and Patio were clean and well maintained, relatively private and had a great view of the sunsets each night over the intercoastal.

A quiet sanctuary in the middle of the hustle & bustle of Ft. Lauderdale Beach. The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly. 5 stars & A phenomenal dining experience on par with some of the best restaurants that I’ve been to in the world. Hosted 7 friends for dinner and everything was perfect. We will be talking about it for years to come & I would never stay anywhere else after this incredible stay.
