The air-con in our room did not work properly and every time we used it, it fell off the wall. The door to the toilet did not reach the floor nor the felling so we someone was using the bathroom, you could hear everything going on - this might just be more of a personal comment.

The accommodation met the standards of the description and matched the photos that were used on the website. Despite being on a very busy, loud road the room was very sound proof. The Mountain View was a great addition too. Very spacious room which made the stay comfortable.

We loved the mountain view! We also liked that the property is situated right in the middle of everything. It's very close to the beach and eating places.

Sometimes at night, the sheet covering the mattress would come loose and expose the mattress. Also, the hotel has no breakfast facility. Instead, we were given tokens for breakfast at a restaurant two blocks away. I would prefer to pay a higher room rate and eat a better breakfast than go to the restaurant to which the hotel refers their guests.

The location, the layout of the room, and the owners were great. Every night, the night market was right outside the door.

To choose the room to the side of mountains was good idea, because the other part of the house face big street, where the night market takes place in the evenings. The host was nice, communication was smooth.

I am not sure how this property has such a high rating. It does not look at all as in the pictures and is really old and not in the good condition. For sure not worth the money you pay for it. Here are just a few things: - the beds and linen are uncomfortable and low quality. - the towels where yellow and stained - there was only one socket in the whole room where we had to charge everything next to the sink - there is no soap next to the sink, you have to get some from the shower - the bathroom feels like its directly in the room - breakfast can only be served between 10-11 am - very strange hours, so we missed out on it twice - I specifically looked for a accommodation with parking. That was also false advertising because we were just adviced to park on the street, which was impossible on a Saturday when there is a market. So we ended up having to park further in the parking lot that ended costing us a lot extra. - last and not least you need to pay cash upon arrival and get no receipt.

We tried to alert the front desk via booking.com that we were going to arrive early. We received no response and had to sit in the lobby for a while until someone came to the desk. They did let us check in an hour early and leave out luggage so it wasn't a problem.

Super kind staff. very close to beach, bus station, breakfast place. very safe and quiet although located right beside night market. luckily we could check in earlier since we arrived around noon. windows had mosquitoe net :-)

Very clean, comfortable and roomy. Loved the views of the mountains. Breakfast at the nearby cafe was great. Staff were brilliant. We loved our stay.

Administration was really bad. First time in my experience of using booking.com that I was left with a sour taste in my mouth. At the time of booking, I was aware that the booking was 50% non-refundable, and after booking the accommodation, I received the message that I need to make 50% deposit via bank wire or PayPal (which we were absolutely unfamiliar with). It must be done within 48 hours, failing which the booking would be cancelled. (They did not accept payment by credit card!) After some attempts to communicate with the accommodation and failing to be understood, we finally managed to make the deposit via PayPal. To our consternation, we were told at the reception on arrival that they did not receive our deposit. We were told that they did not have PayPal, had no idea how to access PayPal, that never in their years of service in this line had they encounter such an experience!! We were made to feel that the whole thing was our fault! It was only after we showed them the acknowledgment of payment made via PayPal from the accommodation, and the message we received from Booking.com that PayPal is one of the options through which payment can be made, that they reluctantly agreed to look into the matter. Later they told us that they contacted Booking.com but was told that it is not true that they specify that the deposit be made via PayPal!!! It was at the end of the day that the staff member told us they would accept responsibility for the "loss" of their 50% deposit. What a bad start to our stay at Kenting!!!

spacious and clean room, right on Kenting street, easy check in, friendly staff and great view from spa like bath tub (highlight of the stay). I also liked how quiet our room was at night as it was facing the mountains, even though the hotel is right on Kenting street right where the night market action is.

Room at 1F is quiet small and no windows. If you would like to stay conformatable, recommend upgrade room but no elevater, only steps to the room. Don't bring heavy buggages.

the accomodation was great but not a lot of facilities to make our own tea and prepare food, but the hosts were kind enough to give us spoons. i would have liked a chair on the balcony.

great location right in the centre of the night market! we walked to xiaowan for swimming, to the reggae bar for drinking, and very close to the busstop to go to hengchun, fangliao and kaoshuing. lovely to have a breakfast voucher included. great to have a fridge in the room.
