The shower had water leaking on the floor of the bathroom and the bathroom itself was quite small.

The staff were great and the location was as central as can be. The staff helped with airport transfers and the rooms were made very well on the daily. There were plenty restaurants nearby, ATMs, a taxi station, and anything else you would need.

From the photos on booking.com it was hard to tell what amenities were for the hotel and which were for the rooms. The room we booked was probably as described but the photos were much nicer than reality. However Can did move us in to a better room which made the stay really good overall

Great location, right near the old town and lots of nice restaurants and bars. Can was really helpful with everything we needed (from taxis to boat trips) and even sorted moving us into a better room. Breakfast was as per the photos.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect! you can watch the sunrise and sunset, its close to all the bars and live music places. Easy access to the beach.

Hotel staff were very welcoming and efficient. Our ferry to Kos was cancelled due to bad weather and they worked to fit us in for an extra night. The hotel is in a good location by the sea and the central streets of restaurants and shops. The Fusion restaurant next door is excellent. The hotel is comfortable with spacious rooms. There was a good breakfast each morning - they put breakfast out early for us when we had to catch our rebooked ferry early in the morning.

location couldn’t be beaten, Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, housekeeping was amazing. some of the balconies are made for 1 person, this isn’t an issue, but it is good to know if you are visiting and want some outdoor space, best to check.

We had a great stay at Akkan, rooms are clean, beds are comfy, nice little balcony with a view on the castle and the sea. Breakfast is delicious, location is fantastic and the staff are nice and always there for you, Can is super attentive, he was supportive & provide the help when needed. We highly recommend staying at Akkan. We stayed in other boutik hotels in bodrum, they were nice and more of hostels, Akkan is a hotel type of accommodation which is great. Thank you Can & staff

Outside sound can be disturbing. There is a school next to the property, but in summers I am assuming the AC sound will drown the noise. Also the mattress was hard for us, but we never communicated to Can. So not sure if something could have been done about it

Localisation was great. Hotel's employee named Can was great, he assisted us and helped us with everything. His English is great so it made it very easy to deal with anything. ☺️

The host was extremely helpful when we ended up at the wrong hotel. He paid the taxi to get our luggage. Water was offered upon arrival. The bathroom was not clean. The details were ignored in cleaning.

Nothing not to like.

From.the very start I felt valued and respected as a customer. Staff kept in touch with me before our arrival, making sure we knew where to find the hotel. Help with airport transfers was offered but not pushed upon us. Our room was spotless. The beds were comfy. The shower was lovely. Hot water in the morning and evening and the water pressure was more than enough. There was a fridge and a safe which was very handy. The hotel is in a great location. Set back slightly from the main beach front promenade (so nice and quiet) but still just 1 min to the beach. The breakfast buffet was lovely and catered for all tastes. I love the Turkish breakfast but sometimes you just want a bowl of cereal. All of this was on offer. Book here. You wont be disappointed.

Location and value for money were great. Also really glad i booked the balcony room, as the view of the sea and the castle was amazing.
