To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

ThailandIf you like a home-like vibe, this is your place. The room was very spacious as compared to other places with the same price. The staff was also very respectful and helpful. I actually ended up adding some more nights. The family members who manage it are good and understanding people and they even shared their food with me. It was a nice experience for me.

PhilippinesThe Place itself is a house like literally a part of the owners home and its old just renovated(only the rooms). Some parts of the room are broken like no door knob for the bathroom, terrace sliding door broken its not fully closed cause you cant. One key card only, should have 2! Neither of you can go out late evening unless you bring your card with you to get in the "house" at 2am to 6am. One has to rest and one has to go out exploring BKK or party in bars. At some point you don't have privacy for visitors here unlike real hotels with the same price.
The Location was nice During Songkran's expected to get wet when going outside, some staff were nice some were strict

CambodiaOld style Bangkok guest house. Room and internal facilities completely adequate. Quiet. No instrusive staff - could come and go unnoticed. Great if you don't like to be fussed over. No restaurant (I prefer to eat locally) but several coffee shops and an alleyway street market adjacent to the hotel with plentiful street food. Short walk to BTS public transport and other shops/malls.

On the edge of a local market servicing city workers, close to Sky Train. Free coffee/tea and fruit in the reception, water provided. No formal breakfast available. Pay laundry in front of the guest house entrance. Staff are great fun. Room as per the photo.

MauritiusSewer smell in bathroom-the plumbing had issues, so the smell of the toilet wafted through, it was not pleasant.The smell came from the vent from the shower. Shower head had (on purpose?) very low water debit, making washing unpleasnt. Washing machine was supposed to be free-it was paying and outside the apartment. A/C leaked during my stay, had to get a bucket and hear the drip of water during the whole tie.
Location. Was able to pay by credit card. Room was available when I arrived at noon. Price was unbeatable.

everything is ok except no receiption . Especially check out so early you can open the door inside and if forget sth, you have to ring the bell so long ( 6.10 am to 6.32 am) then the owner about over 70 years old open the door with the unpleasnt attitude.
