IndiaIt seemed more like a corporate hotel. After roaming around in Bangkok my personal preference is to stay close to Sukhumvit as that is where life is. One way cab takes 20 minutes to Sukhumvit

Although we had requested that our rooms be as close to each other as possible (five in total) we had rooms on two different floors, which wasn't a deal breaker, just a bummer. Lack of hot water for a shower in the morning. I would still highly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful lobby and rooms. Upscale restaurants and accommodations. Great location for our purposes. Can walk over a skybridge to a huge mall for shopping, food options and ATMs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some mild noise from highway going by, but did not keep us awake. Bottled water, coffee and tea provided in room. We enjoyed room service after busy tiring day of site seeing. Front desk staff helped us arrange a van ride (nine people) to the airport for an early morning flight.

GermanyThe interior of the rooms is functional and also clean, but appears old and needs refurbishment/replacement. Due to the vicinity to the motorway and some bigger roads, there is some noise from outside, though I did not find this disturbing. But it is clear that it is not the most quiet of hotels. Other than a few shopping occasions and plenty of dining opportunities mostly for Thai people there are no major sightseeing spots close by. One thing that might be interesting is the Chatuchak weekend market which is not far away. For anything else, you would need a taxi or go by public transport which is on the other hand no big problem as a station is close by and very reliable and cheap.
The hotel is located outside the city center towards the north, direction of Don Muang Airport and close to the toll way. It is therefore easily accessible when you arrive from outside the city. Free car parking with dedicated spots is available at a public car park next to the hotel which can be accessed by foor via a Crossway at the second floor. Check-in and check- out was efficient though large travel groups occupy the hotel at times and can be disturbing if you arrive/leave at the same time. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive and should suit every taste. The bathroom was clean and the shower spacious. There was plenty of complimentary water in the room. Requests to the hotel were dealt with efficiently. In the vicinity of the hotel, there are lots of bigger and smaller shopping malls and entertainment venues/restaurants used mostly by Thai people, so it is worth exploring a bit.
