The TV wasn't smart TV and not kids friendly. No YouTube, no Netflix.. just common channels and no international channels.. the TV preferences was limited.

The hotels services was very top norch.. Great customer service. The morning breakfast, the transport, the swimming pool, 24hrs room dining.. everything was great about this hotel.

The location is a little bit further away from the central parts of Bangkok but we did know that before we’ve booked the hotel.

The Lancaster Bangkok is an excellent hotel with incredibly helpful and attentive staff, spacious rooms and and very nice amenities (spa, pool, gym etc.) We‘ve enjoyed our first stay there very much! Khop khun krap 🙏🙏

Nothing, it was an amazing stay

This hotel was amazing. We booked the hotel at approximately 8.30am after having to leave another hotel for awful standards and found a deal on this room. We checked in about an hour later and was in our room by 10.30am. The staff could not be any more helpful in assisting us, from a welcome drink, to allowing us a complimentary late check out, to taking our bags to our room, a fruit platter, dressing gowns, premium toiletries, the list goes on. The beds and bedding were so comfy and the rooms were very quiet, i didn't hear other guests at all. The room itself had a separate toilet as well as a full bathroom with toilet, shower and bathtub which made it ideal for families. The sitting room with TV meant we could all have our own space. The facilities in the hotel were amazing with rooftop pool and spa/gym. The breakfast buffet was how a breakfast should be done with an egg station that could do eggs every way, lots of options for vegetarians and everything looked fresh and clean. The location was excellent with a MRT station a few minutes walk away.

All was excellent - initially my emails went missing prior to booking but when I called it was all sorted out by Bee who was a manager based at the Front Desk - who made sure to be on hand when we checked in for the two stays we had here

Hotel is situated in a great place to travel to the city centre and we chose to use the river taxi going in and usually had a taxi or Tuk Tuk back - the hotel is in an excellent location for any medical treatments or emergencies given its 2 minute or so proximity to Bangkok Hospital which has superb facilities which we had to use due to dental problems. The rooms here are simply excellent and with our we had access to the 18th floor, inclusive 2 piece laundry per day and access to the 18th floor which had guest services such as cocktails between 530 and 8pm, where you could also order meals from the restaurant kitchen which we did a few times and the quality was excellent. the gym facilities are also very good so provided an excellent start to the day prior to taking breakfast (included) in the downstairs restaurant where the choice of foods and fresh fruit drinks/teas/coffees were excellent. I especially enjoyed the poached eggs which were perfectly cooked and the choices included Western and Easter options - it was usually busy in the mornings here. One of our highlights was the excellent service orientation and attitudes from all staff from the car park entry, doormen, check, 18th Floor and room service staff - the highlight being the exemplary service leadership of one of the check-in/front desk managers called Bee - she was very special and made our stay excellent due to her attentive and supportive behaviours. A few pictures of the excellent staff are included in my review and as I said we have already booked for next year - which says it all in a city like Bangkok which has a very broad choice of hotels and budgets.

I did feel like the floor area in my room, especially by the door, could have been a bit cleaner. Also, the room looks a little "tired" - perhaps a new paint job or redecoration would freshen it up a bit.

The rooms are a great size, the staff were friendly, the gym and swimming pool are great, and I enjoyed the food at the pool bar.

The cleaning in the room was not great. I managed to write, clean me! In the dust on a glass shelf. There was a small piece of polythene in the corner of the carpet, next to the bed and it was still there 6 days later when we left. The travatine marble in the shower had black mould on it, not what you'd expect in 5 stars.

Good location close to metro.Good food and the staff were great. The bed was exactly what you would expect from five stars.

Check in experience and front desk staff very cold and quite rude. We have not experienced this with other hotels. This was the only downside.

Only knack is that the water temperature sometimes fluctuated from hot to cold while showering. Not enough to be a big deal but i was constantly fuddling with the temp to find the sweet spot.

Had an amazing time at Lancaster. Front desk, gym, and spa staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and had a decent view. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a great tub. The highlight for me though was the gym - best facility I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Squat rack, Olympic plate, smith machine, leg curl / extension machines, various cardio machines… everything needed to have an amazing workout. As some who takes weight lifting seriously, it was a very, very pleasant experience. I actually extended my stay because it was so good. They also have a sauna and steam room to decompress post-workout.

When I arrived there were no available rooms left which I had booked. They solved it by upgrading me to a suite. Awesome service.

Very convenient location with direct line to the airport. Just 30 minutes travel. Staff was amazing, especially Guy, who took great care of me and offered exceptional service.

There is an outdoor terrace that we weren't allowed to go to for some reason. We didn't want to hang out there or anything, just wanted a view of the city. Also, it's easy to get to all the attractions in town by using the metro, but it does take a bit of time to get there so plan accordingly.

Great hotel with very friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean, and they provided every amenity. Beds were comfortable and the shared spaces of the hotel were great. We asked for a taxi into town and the staff turned them away because they were asking for too much money. I thought it was very nice of them to look after us like that. After the first night we started taking the metro into town which was conveniently located just a couple blocks away. The security guard at the entrance was such a nice man and he gave us tips on how to get places. He was so friendly and helpful! Overall such a great experience.

Our shower had some problems with keeping one constant temperature. It was slightly changing between hot and cold, but never so extreme that one couldn't shower. Also, the drain in the shower was quite loud.

The staff and the room were great! Very helpful and nice staff during our stay. Our room had an extremely comfortable and big king sized bed, was modern and clean! Next time we will stay longer than just one night.
