The on-site restaurant is great, the food is really high standard, but it's quite expensive for breakfast - so it's perfect for an evening meal or a drink by the pool but we found much cheaper breakfast on the beach.

The 'tents' are really great, big beds, air con, beautifully decorated and lots of storage space. The outdoor bathrooms are lovely, our shower was under a big banana tree! Each room has it's own private garden which is very peaceful and lots of places to lounge. The main pool area has lots of sun loungers and a lovely pool - it's not huge but it's much bigger than expected and perfect for cooling off. The beach is just 2 minutes walk so you can move between beach and pool all day.

Nice room. Private pool! Everything tiptop okay! Clean! Nothing broken. Friendly staff.Reception friendly. She even called the hotel taxi for us during SangKhron. The driver was zo nice. The ride took 2 hours instead of 40 minutes. He did not complain a second. So nice! Good food in the restaurant, the lady owner and husband were so nice. They celebrated my birthday for me, sung Happy Birthday, brought us a cake, gave us free drinks and desserts and even a present! So so nice! Thank you very much!

Location is near the sea Mae Beach. But it is far chaweng ( 20 min with motorbike). Chaweng is most famous beach in Koh Samui.

To travel around from this hotel a bike or car is best as there isn't a lot walking distance and cabs are more expensive on the island compared to other places in Thailand.

Staff were always happy to help and very polite. They gave recommendations of where to go and helped book things for us. Room was clean, spacious and decorated well. Pool was nice and you can order drinks from the bar on a room tab.

We couldn't stay longer, but nothing to complaint about.

It's such a lovely place. Villa with private pool is so nice and well equipped. They give even mosquito spray as a standard. Staff is very friendly and helpful. For another day I took a tent which is even more charming than a villa, but there is no private pool. Anyway, it's not big deal as you just open a door from your private garden and you are exactly on the main pool where you can good drinks in reasonable price or even better in happy hours (180 bht or something). Very close to the beach where you have nice bars and good massage starting from 350bht. Close to 7/11 and some local foods like fried banana or roti. I wish I could stay longer even if it was our most expensive accommodation in Thailand, but you really get what you pay for there.

Live,loud and awful music from restaurant every evening but this is managed by different company so nothing to do with the resort, who's morning breakfast staff don't know the rules about no children allowed in the pool . Resort manager had to sort it out.Wanted to eat and talk to my friends so we only ate in the restaurant once.

Lovely tents with comfortable bed and nice furnishings. Friendly and helpful manager and staff who couldn't do enough for you. Arranged outings and taxi service for us. Loved the secluded garden the tent was in so nice and private.

Can’t recommend enough! We landed at the airport and the transfer they arranged was waiting there with fresh water and snacks. Once we arrived we felt so at home and chilled and nothing was an issue. All the staff were amazing and were able to help us with anything - they sorted a moped for us, booked a tour and a transfer home. The villa was beautiful and so private - so clean and the outdoor showers was such a lovely touch. The pool was clean and the pool bar was a lovely touch. Had an incredible 9 nights and will definitely be back - thank you everyone at Khwan!

Excellent villa and well serviced. Has a private pool which made our stay complete . Easy access to restaurants, cafes and massages. Less that 2 minutes walk to the beach which as perfect. Quiet and beautiful beach . Staff were friendly, helpful and pretty much amazing .

The hotel has a quiet after 10pm rule which is good because sound really travels between the tents. We had a larger group staying beside us coming home from the bars in the early hours and that was too bad. Might be a better resort for couples than partiers!

We loved the luxury tent! It felt exotic but was also so comfortable! The outside bathroom was amazing! The hotel staff was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly and the onsite restaurant was pretty and had a good selection of food. We had a wonderful dinner by the pool. The pool area itself was also very pretty and relaxing.

It took 1 hour to order and receive breakfast and the pool filter of our villa was not working correctly. The Chinese town night market is no longer running, the listing needs to be updated.

Nothing it was a really great choice.

The property was beautifully clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The room cleaning was outstanding, they came everyday to clean the room and fresh towels etc. we stayed in the elephant villa with private pool and pretty garden, totally private for skinny dipping and plenty of sun and shade. The bed was large and comfortable, the aircon worked well and outside shower was great. The main resort pool was also excellent and we enjoyed using that too. The beautiful sandy beach is really long and not many people, waters clear and easy for swimming in. Plenty of beach bars and massage places dotted along. We ate at the excellent Passa restaurant onsite a lot and the food was excellent and good value for money with live music nightly catering for a mix of tastes. Outside the hotel on the main road would recommend oh my bowel for pick n mix salads, we also enjoyed their yogurt and granola too . Samon restaurant a little further along was also excellent, very eclectic and the french owner/chef was excellent, well worth a visit. Would highly recommend staying here.

Awesome experience! Very spaceous tents with a huge outdoor shower and even bathtub surrounded by palm & banana trees :) Big comfy beds with super soft bedlinen!! The staff was very helpful organizing transfers to/from the pier & airport for us and also the scooter rental. Communication via whatsapp worked perfectly fine! The pool in front of the bedroom is a great add-on :) the location is perfect - within a couple of minutes to plenty of restaurants, beaches, etc. Very quiet as well which is a BIG PLUS! Big recommendation!

Great villa for the price we paid, nice private pool. Fantastic amenities, a nice small kitchen. Definitely worth the money. A great Italian restaurant in the premises with some really amazing food and a very hospitable owner.
