Easier access needed around the resort .Sometimes the buggies were not available to help you return to your room or to the pier .

Having to get a ferry and a cab to get into town although there is always the monkey trail! Jellyfish on the beach - staff did attempt to clear them but unfortunately there were soo many.

Room cleaning was lacking, random times for maids, who left dirty plates and rubbish at times, however it was generally good. Plan your departure times well in advance. Be prepared to be restricted to the resort.

I didn’t like being stuck in the complex with not enough shuttle boats put on by the hotel so we had to change our plans constantly to fit which made it feel very limiting. The rooms weren’t as clean as I was expecting of a 5 star hotel. We also had a problem with the water draining from the shower and the fridge

The food is terrible. It wouldn’t be a big deal if the property wasn’t secluded but you either need to trek thru the monkey path or hire a boat to leave. If the food were good, it would be an amazing relaxing place!

We went to the Thai restaurant. The service was not great. It was rather slow and we weren´t even shown a desert menu or asked if we wanted coffee.

Initially we were shown to the wrong room. It was fixed later and they apologized and said they would send over a bottle of sparkling wine to make up for the mistake. They said it would arrive by 6, but it did come around 10, which was fine.

The hotel is very isolated and the food on offer is good, but expensive for what it is. The 'international resturant' only offers Indian curries, the Thai restaurant is overpriced and the beach club cafe has a limited menu which gets repetitive after 3/4 days. The tours on offer from the hotel are poor so would recommend going into town if you are set on visiting the Phi Phi islands or similar. The boat shuttle is good but runs to the opposite end of town. You can access Ao Nang via the monkey trail, which you certainly work up a sweat doing in the heat.

Lovely location, very scenic and beautiful. Initially we had an issue with our room, this was rectified and we were even upgraded to a lovely sea view room. We never had an issue finding a sun bed by the pool, and the staff were always helpful.

The room needed a bit of a renovation. The sink was leaking.

The best massage experience ever! The spa is amazing. Awesome beach, private. The location is fantastic, set in front of a mountain and surrounded by a nature reserve. The best setting. We saw spectacled langurs and Brahmini kites. Huge and very rich breakfast buffet. Excellent Thai restaurant. The exterior decoration of the hotel was beautiful.

The hotel is a little tired, especially the bathroom in our room. It didn't negatively affect the overall experience but i do think it needs to be addressed if the hotel is going to maintain the quality.

Unfortunately, a few things should be better at this price point. The door access system is not as secure as it should be, and the swipe access on our "anti monkey" swipe door access fell apart twice. Service in the seafront bar is tardy and some of the staff seemed a bit aloof for some reason - if you're in the hospitality industry, at least be hospitable. Our major issue though lies with the hotel pricing for drinks etc as these were excessively inflated compared to the "off-Resort" pricing for soft drinks etc. There are only 2 ways of accessing the resort (which is part of reason they can inflate their pricing). One method is by boat, and they offer a complimentary service which is frequent and effective, but ties you to their schedule,or you can organise privately for a cost. The other, more quirky, option is the "Monkey Trail" which is a hazardously constructed series of wooden stairways and ladders which many people will see as dangerous. We used it daily but every time there was different damage evident and it was clearly a daily task keeping it passable. If you don't feed or interact with the monkeys found along its length they generally leave you alone. However, the half-wits who gather at the town end of this trail blatantly ignoring the "Do not feed the monkeys" signage, cause queues of people to back up waiting to get on, or off, the trail. The knock-on effect is a weight of people all jostling around each other, adding a couple of tonnes weight to the wooden structure cobbled together with no engineering thought into how much weight it can bear. Not good.

The breakfast buffet selection is large and food quality is good. However, the coffee machines are too small and regularly run out of milk or need cleaning etc. Hotel location is superb from a seafront perspective but very awkward for people with mobility issues. Grounds etc are all immaculate

Very noisy due to the constant noise from boats, hotel is very tired and not a 5 star. Food is average. Overall not good value for money which is a shame as it could be a gem!

This is a large hotel and you get day trippers from Krabi coming over. They can buy day passes and take up the beach chairs. You have to go by boat to get there and so you can only use the hotel transport to get anywhere so it can be expensive. We booked this after a booking fell through. We prefer a boutique hotel without the masses.

Loved to location and all the property had to offer in terms of pools, beach, water sports and fitness center. 3 restaurants to choose from. Beautiful rooms that were private and spacious with two outdoor seating areas. Service was excellent. Breakfast had many, many options.

Access is a challenge

The property is very beautiful. At the end of Ao Nang bay but beyond the main strip and therefore only accessible by boat or the monkey trail - aka difficult to walk out at night. However it’s very well positioned for the scenery

I think the property is a little tired and is showing her age. I appreciate that we are a year or so out of all the covid restrictions and that the property first needs to get back some of its losses, that said a planned maintainence program should be sort soon.

The location is stunning but this comes at a cost as there are only a couple of options in and out of the resort. Either by speedboat transfer which you need to book in advance or "The Monkey Trail" which is a high hike over the cliff through the jungle. For those of you who are elderly, bad knees or just aren't as fit as you thought you were don't attempt!! With the heat and the incline of the climb that alone is enough to get even the fittest of you sweating!

Room facility and amenities, no indoor slippers and toothbrush, the automatic indoor lock was not working

Wonderful location surrounded by the Rocky cliffs. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset at the beach. Wild lovely nature animals like monkeys and little birds come down to the beach or the villas.
