One of the best rooms we have stayed in since travelling for 8 weeks. Big and comfortable room, wish we could have stayed longer. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast consisting of toast, fruit and tea/coffee.

The location wasn't very walkable, and we had to take Grab cars into the main area.

Baan Thara provided a cozy and quiet place to stay while visiting Ao Nang. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and water was provided. The breakfast was convenient and the staff was kind. The restaurant across the street is delicious and there are friendly cats!

Amazing guesthouse, we loved our stay here. Super friendly and helpful staff, great rooms with a comfy bed and very clean! Also the cutest 3 legged cat lives there and she is so friendly. Location was good, near a 7/11 and can rent a scooter from them for 250 baht a day. He also let us use it longer than we paid for so we could go to Railay and back without getting a taxi. Free breakfast too.

Loud scooters always passing by at night, but that's not actually hotel's problem. Also it would be nice if rooms have additional hangers or stands for towels and clothes. Cuz even nowhere to dry your swimsuit.

Breakfast is included! Toasts, jam, yogurt, fresh fruits, coffee and juice - perfect for a day start. Daily water in bottles. The stuff is friendly and always ready to help. It happened our AC stopped cooling all of a sudden and they fixed it asap. Scooter rent and various tours can be booked at the place. 15 min walk to the beach and about 20 to the night market. Cute cats living in the hotel:) And the hugest plus there are no kids! Thank you owners.

Nothing to dislike. For the money, this is great value and not too far away from a trip into Ao Nang. We even walked back to the property from there a few nights.

We had a room facing the “backyard” of the property and it was very quiet at night. Staff is very attentive and caring. The morning breakfast of toast, fresh fruit, juice and coffee was an excellent touch to get the morning started. Staff can assist with nearly anything you need from tours to motorbike, etc. They’ll even head to the street to get you a taxi, tuktuk into town.

AMAZING STAFF!!! Clean, spacious, complementary brekky, great bedding and you can book activities here, 7-11 5 minute walk. Aonang beach accesible for 30 baht in “suntaw bus”

The room was extremely clean, with everything you need for a very cheap price. The breakfast is free, don’t forget to leave a tip for the incredible staff. They were so nice with us about everything, and helped us finding another hotel for a night after our stay. We loved our stay.

You have no direct access to the beach, you have to walk a little bit or get transportation.

We felt super comfortable in the hotel. The owners were always available for questions and a nice chat. We could rent a bike, got explicit directions and recommendatios and they even helped made another booking for me alone at a later date possible although it was nearly booked-out. Breakfast was great, even home-made yoghurt and lots of fruits. It was very quiet at night. The beach is awesome with lots of shade. There are nice and cheap restaurants just across the street and also shops, a laudromat, etc.

Only one small thing we didn't like but to be honest it happens in most hotels across Thailand and asia, our bathroom drain could be a little smelly but not consistently.

We loved our stay here. The room is very spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Drinks provided in the room. The staff are very friendly and the daily free breakfast they provide is delicious and generous. Good location also

3 brothers run the hotel, and any of them would bend over backwards to help you out. They had a nice free breakfast ready every morning. It's probably the best hosts I ever had. I give the brothers a 10 out of 10.

One of the best places we stayed at in SE Asia. Super clean and spacious room, quiet in the night and the staff is so friendly and helpful and they speak English and even German :) we rented a scooter to explore Krabi from there and for us it was the perfect location, away from all the madness of Ao Nang. There is a lovely beach nearby (15 minutes walking/ 4 with the scooter) and also an elephant sanctuary. Right across the street you can super tasty teas and smoothies and there is also a breakfast place and a 7/11. We would definitely stay here again. It was great! Thanks a lot the the guys at the reception and the cute old white kitty 😁

As soon as we arrived, the hosts made us feel welcomed and helped us organise a boat trip and took care of our luggage before the check in. They also have a motorcycle rental for a good price (250b) and they offered a very simple, but tasty breakfast. As the Ao Nang beach and market street is close by both walking and by bike, the price to quality ratio for this accommodation is amazing.

Such a lovely stay and amazing service! Super helpful and friendly staff! Rooms were clean. Breakfast was simple, but lovely. Toast, jam, fruit, yoghurt, coffee and juice. Definitely more than we expected! Location is okay, but it’s not far to go to the boats or the “city” by taxi or tuk tuk. Theres a few shops and a restaurant across the road, which was convenient. Definitely value for money! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Everything was amazing

Brilliant stay! We would be more than happy to be back here. The room was super clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even offered us breakfast which was a nice surprise. The location is also good although renting a scooter is recommended.
