We were recommended several local and authentic Portuguese restaurants, all of which were wonderful. We also went on an informative and enjoyable walking tour of the city, provided by the hostel. The staff were also incredibly kind and friendly. Sangria hour also provided an excellent opportunity to make friends.

The location of the hotel is 5 minutes from the famous Porto bridge, the rooms are clean, spacious and spacious, the staff is attentive, you can stay with peace of mind.

I didn’t like the sign I saw at the reception, that the facility was for people under 45. However my age (50) wasn’t mentioned upon check in. Plus there was another couple older is I guess it’s not applied.

Absolutely amazing and very friendly staff. Nice, clean room with enough privacy. Perfect location in heart of Porto and close to best brunch place ever : "Floresta cafe by Hungry biker" If I will travel again to Porto, I will stay here again

One of the guys who clean the kitchen was extremely rude about closing it at 11 am when I was finishing to cook some eggs. I understand the rules but he could have been a bit flexible understanding that I was going to finish in a couple of minutes. The kind of person should not be working facing clients knowing he has no basic human treatment or empathy.

You are provided one hand towel and one large towel for the duration of your stay. If you want an additional towel, you provide 5 euros and upon its return you can have 4 euros back. This isn't a huge issue, as I'm sure it helps to keep the towels from dissapearing, but i'd prefer to have two towels to begin with and start that policy with a third towel.

The location cannot be beat. In the heart of old town Porto! I enjoyed the vibe of the Hostel which was up late, hanging out. I appreciated the different services they offered like a free tour at 10am, and Sangria at night, etc. We booked a private room for our party of four. We had a very large bathroom and shower that was modern. The showers were warm and everything worked beautifully. The AC worked well, but the evening air was better, so we slept with the windows open. We had bunk beds and two twin beds, so someone had to climb up onto the bunk, which wasn't an issue for us, but it could be for older folks. Be forewarned, if you want quiet smoke free environments and you do not want to sleep on the top bunk of a bunk bed, do not book this Hostel. It is a Hostel, not a hotel. It is cheaper for that very reason. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. They were always willing to help us connect with interesting places to see, and understand public transportation options. There does seem to be some unsavory folks hanging around the general area of the Hostel at night. This is clearly why they have a code on the exterior doors to the Hostel, limiting only those staying in the Hostel to enter. One evening we came through the streets very late and we were looked at very carefully by some very questionable characters. Late at night I'd recommend approaching the Hostel from the side of the Church (going down to the Hostel) and not from the old streets (going up to the Hostel), especially if alone. They also have someone at the desk at all hours. I appreciated this level of security, but it is something that some may find slightly unsettling if they aren't expecting it. Uber's were wiling to come down to the street and pick us up at the Hostel front door, however, it always took them considerable time to back out of the narrow streets. I recommend picking up an Uber a block away on a major road.

The location is awesome! I definetly recomment this hostel. It is budget-friendly and clean! The common area is also designed well. Comfy! Bathrooms are for 2 and there are 2 showers for 2 rooms and clean!

For me the location was slightly too much in the street district where I would not walk alone at night. I would also appreciate more the quiet system for closing the doors.
