There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the hotel other than the location which is out of the centre of Porto but that was our own error. But with a great Uber and Bolt taxi service it wasn’t a problem.

The provision of Tea-bags and milk to make a morning drink seemed to be very restricted. We tried to get additional supplies in the evening, but reception staff did not have access to the items. In six days I had only two black tea tea-bags, with fruit tea being provided by the cleaners. Two little tubs of milk seemed to be the limit too. I am sure it is not rationed, but it did feel a bit like it (and yes, I know I could have asked during the day). We did not take breakfast in the hotel.

A lovely hotel and the stay was made all the better by the professional and friendly staff. A very nice room indeed which proved comfortable and quiet, although some other guests seemed to struggle with the concept of a sliding door to the bathroom, crashing the door each time they used their facilities. Cleaning of the room was excellent and each day when we got back after our adventures, it felt like we had checked into a new room. Free glass of port as well as chocolates and fruit in the room were an added touch.

Outstanding value for money. Excellent knowledgeable and professional staff, very clean, lovely rooms with a great range of English language television programmes. Great bathroom. Everything very modern. Complimentary transfers were excellent both ways tailor made to suit my requirements with perfect communication. I had a very late flight and they let me stay in the room until 6pm free of charge. Easy walk to the metro station and they give you a card to use on the metro. I've stayed in Porto several times and this hotel is by far the best.

This was an excellent experience. Well thought-out amenities, from the fruit plate and water, classy logo-embossed blanket, so many thoughtful touches in the well-appointed room. Typical room size for a city location. Staff was very professional, helpful and efficient. Great value. I would highly recommend.

Nothing to report here. The hotel is approx 30 minutes walk from the city center, but this suit me fine. There is a metro station 250 m away from the hotel and the hotel provides shuttle bus services both to the city center and airport during certain hours during the day, So all in all I did not find the location to be of any issue. It was also easy to order the taxi to the airport from the hotel, which is located north of the city center, and thus a bit closer to the airport.

I had reserved a single room but was upgraded to a larger room. I really enjoyed the high level of service, friendliness of staff and that the room catered for all needs. It felt like a family owned hotel where all the guests needs are catered for. As I left very early I did not have the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast, but the portwine welcome tasting was great and I really felt that there was a high focus on the guests comfort.
