This hostel is amazing! Everything has been well thought out and so aesthetically pleasing. You have an outdoor patio, kitchen, restaurant, bar! The dormitories are air conditioned, beds are so comfy, made everyday and linen changed every second day. Only 6 people per room and the bathroom is new, clean and sound proof from the dormitory, plus they provide you with a towel. You have a private locker for your backpack. The majority of the staff are friendly and so helpful (only one staff member who was pleasant but did not go out of her way like all the other staff). Breakfast is included and it was delicious. We arrived at 12am and the reception staff welcomed us, showing us the facilities, took our bags to our room and showed us how to use the personal lockers etc, he was amazing! Plus Pablo greeted us every morning with cheer as we had breakfast, and Joy served us the best margaritas and friendliness in the evenings. I would stay there in a heart beat.

Could use a little more packing space, or place to hang hand towels or hand dryer, since towel hooks were in hall way, so one would drop till you go to the towel.

It was everything promised and then some. Very clean/new, upscale hostel with nice amenities, like excellent restaurant and bar, great staff, and great location. Even the airport bus stops steps away, super convenient, at the cost no of public transportation (about $2.50 US?). Also, nice size lockers with automatic locking, and comfortable bed and sheets. Daily housekeeping too.

Hmm, I never really stayed in many hostels. I have only ever stayed here (twice). But people told me that in other hostels, there are curtains or partitions on the beds to create some more privacy. Maybe this would be something good to have here as well

Everything really. Staff was very friendly, rooms clean and conformable, breakfast was amazing, the lockers in the room, the location.

Batheoom of garden room smelled in heat, possibly dry drains? And room smelled strongly of cleaning fragrance after cleaning.

The bar is pricey.

- Very clean place. - Room super clean and well designed. - The room had it’s own entrance door, hallway and bathroom (with like 2 showers and 2 toilets, really amazing). - Also the other fabulous thing is that all lockers are located in the room’s hallway, near the bathroom. It means that you are not bothering your roommates when using the lockers, cause it’s not in the bedroom itself. - You can drop you luggage at reception earlier. Friendly and helpful staff.

I would really struggle to fault this gorgeous hostel.

it was such a lovely hostel, having stayed in loads it was defo the nicest one, the stuff were so so lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms and the interior were beautiful and modern, the location was perfect with very little traffic, to almost the middle of a city I wasn't disturbed once.

Price point was a bit higher than other shared hostels.

Welcoming, friendly, and informative staff. Attractive and clean facilities. Amazing breakfast spread. Located in a fun arts area. Restaurant/ bar on premises is good.

I do have to mention that there is no lift so, if you have a lot of luggage maybe not ideal. I had a backpack only so I was very chill with the lack of lift. The bathrooms are cleaned every morning which is very nice but, if you do arrive a lil later in the day after people have showered, it will not be clean and a little off-putting as not everyone cleans up after themselves... Bring your flip flops and it will all be breezy. Although I do wish to recommend to the hostel to put bathroom matts as after a shower the floor will all be wet and leave it more dirty than it should.

The rooms were very modern and cleaned everyday. You are able to get breakfast as well and it is pretty decent I would say! Although since you are in Porto I do recommend having breakfast in one of the many coffee shops around. The staff are incredibly nice and welcoming! My check-in and check-out was super pleasant! There are walking tours that the hotel offers! Although I was not able to join one it is nice to know that it is there if you would like to join. You also have a bar at the hostel which is very nice!

This gorgeous hostel was the high point at which I ended my Europe trip! Amazing interiors, excellent service, convenient location and some of the most delicious food at the café on the property. Complimentary breakfast which was included in my tarrif was superb I had dinner thrice in the in-house café and can safely say it's one of the most scrumptious meals I've had! Shoutout to my server Bruno who was amazing! Oh the beds are made on arrival and free towels 🤗

The Gallery Hostel offers an excellent stay with specious rooms, stylish decor, helpful and friendly staff, also I was allowed to use a bicycle. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the city.
