The bedroom information on the Booking website can be more accurate. My interpretation of the information was that the room had a separate bedroom. In addition, I thought I was selecting a specific room. However, rooms are assigned upon arrival. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy.

Loved the design of the spaces incorporating portuguese elements. The hotel staff went beyond to grant our requests (early check-in and same day laundry delivery).

The shower ran out of hot water very quickly .We were advised that each room has its own hot water tank but they are obviously small as a second person having a shower immediately after someone else led to ending up with a cold shower which really isn't acceptable ,particularly for a 2 bed room.

Absolutely beautiful room in an amazing building and location ,central but quiet and really helpful and friendly staff.

Would have loved a few hooks at the front door and in the bathroom. There was noisy construction behind our apartment. Be prepared to hear your upstair neighbors stomping around at times. But at night…silence!

It was a beautiful spacious apartment. The beds were very comfortable. Great air conditioning! The kitchen was well equipped. The staff was very kind and friendly. The neighborhood was full of many great restaurants. Easy walking to all major sites.

Only things that would make this property even better would be 1) hot water in the showers that lasts past just 1.5 people (we had four people), and 2) more tools/supplies in the kitchen

Our apartment at Laranjais was the most beautiful apartment we stayed in during our time in Portugal. We loved the furnishings and the fact the bedrooms are separated by all of the common spaces. The location was decent; we could easily walk to the river, Lavario Lello, and the market. Overall, we would definitely recommend Laranjais.

building works noise off the balcony on business days during the day; the fact that sauna didnt heat up.

Fabulous location, the best, walking distance to everywhere, close enough to Party central, yet far enough (7min walk) to be super quiet, especially rooms facing onto the back and the green buildings at the back. Be aware though that there is building work at one of the buildings on the side onto which the balconies face (at least our room 22 on 3rd floor did). that means drilling and generator working type noises during the day on the balcony but super super quiet at night. Beautiful interiors, excellent customer service. 10min walk to all the main attractions, including fabulous central market, 15min walk to the river. Staff were simply excellent. Small glitch on our stay, Turkish bath room we booked, the sauna didn't heat up so in a way defeated the purpose of booking a Turkish bath room. Having said all that, i would stay in this hotel again any day.

lack of privacy since bathroom sink opened directly onto bedroom; adding separation doors would help greatly. water leaked from corner of the shower to area next to the toilet; proper resealing should fix this issue.

Everything was great, nothing to dislike.

The hotel / apartment was excellent, with a great atmosphere, everyone was helpful and friendly and the food was for us who are Vegans was nothing short of wonderful. Even the non Vegans who were eating there were commenting on the quality of the food. So a big shout out for the Roots restaurant who provided the breakfasts and also have an evening menu. The food was so good , we ate there for three nights out of five.

That I had to leave!

Location couldn’t have been better. Several attractions are within 10-15mins walk. Carlota, who checked us in and out was amazing! Nothing was too much for her and we felt so welcomed by her. The map, places of interest and restaurant recommendations were prepared and shared with us upon arrival. Our apartment is gorgeous, very clean and most details were looked into. Style with functionality!

The bed was a little too hard for my personal comfort. Delicious chocolate treats left as a welcome gift but only on the first day!

The location was great. The suite was lovely - a bit dark, but I think that’s because it’s an old building built to keep out the heat. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Great place, nothing bad to say.

Cute apartment style with full kitchen and living room. The bathroom was nice with an updated shower. The location was decent and within walking distance to most attractions. They gave you a sample of Port wine and delicious chocolates upon arrival which was a nice touch. I would recommend this hotel/apartment.
