QatarThey need to improved the WIFI connection in room 613. I was actually told that the issue has been happening for sometimes before and was not fix. To lessen the hassle, should have been fix from the first complaint received. I was moved to different room on the 2nd night of my stay. I called The reception 10am, morning shift forgot to indorse the issue. Luckily the night shift receptionist which also happens to be the receptionist in spa handled the issue pretty well and immediately moved me to another room. Also, the spa reservation needs to improved as I was cancelled twice for the spa booking. They have offered me room service massage but was really really late at 00:00 and I felt really bad for the lady who did the service. Instead of two hours, i only did 1 hour.
Staffs were so friendly and very accommodating. The reception was so friendly. All of them, the service they provided was superb! I could not see any faults. The spa team were so friendly as well. And lastly, the food and beverage team were angels!

NetherlandsGreat thing is restaurant open till midnight. But for foreign quests menu card should offer what Phillipines have best. Local food and recipes. Meals based on Greek or American cousine don`t make it any special.
Ni9ce and comfortable hotel. One of the best things is restaurant on the rooftop open till midnight. That makes a big difference if you check in late in the evening and want to eat something warm and fresh.

United StatesBe carful, The water is not always good in the green bottles. The downstairs restaurants are so expensive, especially the ice cream cafe. I also think the price is a bit high.
Walking distance to just about anything you need. Very nice staff and room service. The upstairs sushi restaurant is very good but smell the water before you drink it.

United StatesI’ve stayed many times (5+) at this property: air con performance is great in some rooms and it takes longer to get cool in some other rooms. Although I have never seen a rat in this property, I have heard noises in the ceiling (above room 306) during a previous stay that could only be rats. I reported this to the main office at checkout and did not hear anything on this last visit.
Great location with the best overall facilities in Tacloban. The restaurants are very good; the spa was relaxing.

Saudi ArabiaI do have a few constructive feedbacks ..this is mainly to improve their services and not to discredit the excellent work of the staff and the hotel as a whole. The internet connection is slow and intermittent. Please do better in this department. I prefer having door knobs or handle. It is hard to open drawers , cabinets or even the bathroom. I was struggling to open the bathroom so i had to leave it open a bit. The light mirror in the shower room wasnt working . Weird that the bathroom and the shower room were separated and parallel to each other from the main entrance. No safe deposit box? although i asked the receptionist .. he politely offered for someone to assist me but i didnt press the matter. Just kept my valuables in my luggage. Booking thru booking.com or tripadvisor can be confusing... it may seem available to these sites but if you check with the hotel itself , it is a different scenario. My advice is to always confirm with the hotel. Disclaimer : This is just my humble review as their customer. I dont claim to be a hotel connoisseur .
HOTEL XYZ is a 3-star hotel and live up to its star rating. First of all, they have a lot of amenities they have spa , restaurant and cafe , bar , swimming pool and gym. I dont think most hotels have this option as a 3-star . This is what separates them from other 3 star hotels in tacloban like Ironwood hotel or Summit hotel. Moreover, the frontline staff ( receptionists and the morning guy who assists in the luggages ) were very friendly, professional, and accommodating. When it comes to my room ( queen deluxe ) , it was complete with the items I needed...from slippers , hair dryer , lots of towel ... the bed and pillows were very soft and comfortable . It wasnt that noisy and i couldnt hear much what was happening outside the corridor. Breakfast is included. It is not a buffet. You can either have american breakfast or assorted filipino breakfast ( tocino , corned beef, daing , etc ) .. the breakfast service is from 6 to 9 am ( or 9:30) .. if your late, they will call you if you prefer having breakfast in your room. Not all hotels do this. The hotel prices were not that expensive. It is worth your money considering the oustanding services and amenities they provide. Lastly , the hotel is at the heart of the city so it is close to most businesses or establishments. So , to me, they are the best hotel in tacloban so far. To be honest i wanted to extend my stay for a few more days but they were fully booked so i had no choice but to look elsewhere. For a 3 star hotel i give it a 9.5 score.
