I think the name and the price is misleading as is the picture of the spa pool on their welcome page..which when we went to get in it looked and smelt wrong. The rooms were very clean and comfortable but the shared bathrooms were a little tired from all the use.
The location is next to none and the cafe / restaurant is lovely.

Location has great access to the Greenstone and Routeburn tracks. Also being on the lake and looking over to Glenorchy is good.

The location of this lodge is very good for those hikers, they plan to go to Routeburn Track. Employee are warmly. Kitchen and bathroom are shared. There all very tidy. Guests in kitchen is easy to talk each other. I fell very well.

SwitzerlandVery small room, which hardly allow you to open the travel bags. Toilets cleanliness were questionable and in the morning sorry to say but in some at least toilet paper was missing. Coming late might be a challenge as the property is not fully lit and we were lucky to find the room fast.

Netherlands10 minute timer in the shower. The hot water preservation is good, but make sure people have a light to change back into their clothes after the shower. And if you’re on a budget you need to make sure you have food with you.
Awesome location in Kinloch. Such a different atmosphere than Queenstown and only one hour drive away. Perfect between Routeburn track and Caples and Greenstone track.

United KingdomComplicated after-hours check in process reliant on 'phone signal and data. No response to urgent query as our door code did not work and the app was glitching. Our window had been left open so the room had lots of sandflies in it by the time we arrived!
Well-stocked kitchen and beautiful location. Great to have a restaurant on site. Staff were lovely.
