The room was jam packed resulting in feeling slightly trapped. The toilet and shower are in the room so you can hear everything. The bathroom also has a sensor light that turns on when you open the door resulting in bright lights in the middle of the night. The bunks them self are of average quality to the point they squeak with all movements. The bunks are also quite small with poor quality mattresses. Being 6 ft, my feet were hanging of the bed. There also wasn’t much of a communal vibe compared to other backpackers

U had to wait a long time to be able to use one of only two bathrooms for all the ppl staying there, staff was nice but honestly the roommates rly made the stay bad. They threw their stuff onto our beds. Stole my friends pillow and behaved like total apes. The person at the desk was very helpful in fixing these issues f.ex changing my bed to a different one because mine was definitely slept in and not clean!!! . But without an AC I still didn't get any sleep because it was so hot in the room it was unbearable

Rooms too overcrowded, no air conditioning. Not enough toilets/ showers for the number of people in the hostel. Very small and cramped feeling in the whole hostel. Can't really complain for £15 a night though

- the ladder to the bed is missing, I would appreciate one more small chair to get on the bed - it was difficult to get some air into the room and it was really hot, fortunately, there was a fan in the room - the drains in the shower and sink were partially blocked - lack of shared spaces where you could just hang out

- location is good - the staff is nice - shared spaced are cleaned - fan in the room - microwave in the "kitchen" (kitchen is in the same room as the reception)

The bed isn't comfortable, all the bathrooms were always unclean and the staff is slow doing the check in (I was waiting for more than one hour for the check in). Also, they throw out my food and they are rude

There was no AC which was horrible, sleeping in a stuffy room during warm summer days with multiple people made it unbearable to get a good night sleep at night. There lacked kitchen and only a microwave was present so making your own food was a hard letdown. The toilets were very small and cramped which made it so you touched corners which hadn’t been cleaned. It made the experience unhygienic.

Its location is really good because it’s right on the border of the inner city and outer city. So you can see both sides of Amsterdam which I like. The reception was really nice and helped with questions and tips about what can be found and seen while in Amsterdam.

The room is cramped and the beds are too close to each other, no curtains, lack of privacy. There was only 1 toilet and shower for each floor.

The location is good if you like to be close to the museums. It is accessible to trams to if you like to go to the central station area.

The rooms can get pretty hot at night, there is a fan available in the rooms but we didn't use it cause we had roommates. If you're not sensitive to heat you should be fine though!

It was a lie that there is 24h reception. 2 nights that i went to reception after midnight, the door was close with the announcement ""cleaning"". And it was like that all night and i couldnt eat when i wanted!

The room was not clean at all. The trash can was not removed from older guests and everything was dirty .

The location was good there were nearby trams which helped me get through the city easier .Nice neighbourhood . The shared bathrooms were clean.

We expected to have free lockers for our luggage but it turned out we have to pay for them, so we had to leave our things under the beds. We didn't particularly like that. The room wasn't also regularly cleaned except for the bathroom. Тhe floor was quite dirty by the end of our stay.

The location of the hostel was very convenient. There was no breakfast but we could use the fridge in the shared space which was awesome! When it comes to the room, the beds were comfortable.

The rooms were tiny and somewhat cramped, so were the bathrooms. However, all these things don't mean much if you're spending the whole day outside travelling.

Cleanliness was ok, but not great. Rooms and bathrooms were not cleaned daily and were not clean on arrival. Number of beds was a bit high vs the size of the room.

Friendly staff. Great location, easy access to public transport, museums, restaurants, good commute from the airport by bus. Overall quiet enough place.

The bathroom was very small and a little moldy so we didn't really shower, and the whole space is very cramped, also we had only 1 stool for 2 bunkbeds so we had to place it kind of in the middle of the room to have access from both beds.

The location was great, the kitchen area was convenient and it was nice to see the structure of an older authentic dutch house.

Rooms are too narrow and too small for this number of beds. It must be max of 4 beds, not 6.. no space to turn around, not enough air in the room, bathroom is extremely small, no space to leave your bag
