The setting was absolutely amazing, with lots of walking trails to choose from in this beautiful forest. The room was beautifully decorated with nicely thought design features… far from your standard room hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

For the price we paid for a junior suite the location was not great. Suite was in a separate building in cubicles. Noise from neighbours walking above, going upstairs kids running around the hall and outside was not great either. No privacy. Had to have tv on loud to drown out everyone else.

Settings are beautiful and so is the actual hotel.

A little chaotic at breakfast time, but this was because there were a lot of wedding guests and kids running around. The food had almost run out even though it was only 9:30am (breakfast goes until 10:30am).

The location is beautiful! And there are lovely walks to do from the hotel. The property is gorgeous, we stayed in the coach house in a stylish and modern room. Wonderful dinner at the Bistro, the food was divine!

Our room was in the coach house and as it was 30+C, it was very hot in the roof rooms. Portable aircon provided but very noisy.

Beautiful location with access to the forests and grounds of the hotel. Fantastic restaurant (Bistro). Great breakfast buffet. Great, helpful, smiling staff in all areas.

the bathroom was very nice, but it did not have a door / wall between the toilet / bathroom and the room itself. therefore, if someone is on the toilet, the other person in the room can hear (and partially see due to everything being made out of glass) everything. this made us a bit uncomfortable, especially since my partner was having a weak stomach so I left the room whenever she went

beautiful location in the midst of the forest. charming building with lots of history. beautiful large rooms with nice views. great walks around the park. although we didn’t use them, the bikes looked great as well.

The hotel itself was not as luxurious as I expected for the price we paid, the rooms were just ok. Breakfast was mediocare, croissonts werent fresh, coffee mwa... I mean brekfast is all about delicious coffee and fresh bread and pastries, isn't it? So that was a disappointment.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, surrounded by gorgeous nature, amazing for a walk or cycle. Great big terrace where you can enjoy a sunny brekfast in the morning, parking on site.

The heating system was sub-optimal! Bathroom and bedroom unheated till approximately 08:30 a.m. Not dramatic but a bit uncomfortable!

The quality of breakfast items was good. The choice of items was just a but a bit limited.

Staff were very frindly and helpful. The dinner service and quality of the food was absolutely impeccable! The serene location of the esate in the middle of the woods provides the perfect setting for a quiet, romantic breakaway.

Terrible experience at this hotel. The room did not match the photos shown at the time of booking at all. It felt like the Harry Potter cupboard under the stairs. The booking promised a balcony or a scenic view. There was no balcony, and the view was far from scenic. Instead, it overlooked the entrance area where people sat and loudly discussed their business all the time. This was not at all what we expected to see, and there was nothing scenic about it. We asked for a room change and were given a different room, but it was a downgrade from our original booking. However, as I understand it, we were charged according to the original reservation. When we checked in, we were informed that breakfast was served until 11:30 AM, and check-out was at 11 AM. We asked for confirmation because it seemed odd, and they confirmed these times. The next morning, we arrived for breakfast at 10:50 AM, only to be told that breakfast had ended at 11 AM. Although we arrived before 11, they offered us bread and eggs. The restaurant was already being cleaned and vacuumed, which made eating bread and eggs under such noisy conditions very unappealing. Overall, it was a terrible experience at this hotel. Additionally, in the morning, you can hear the cleaning staff loudly talking across the entire floor.

Staff were outwardly rude on multiple occasions, despite problems. Wifi router was not working in our (outside) room, but staff just said that it was working for them at reception

Only a minor thing really in that the bar menu was very limited. We eat at lunchtime whilst out and would have liked a lighter choice for dinner rather than 6, 7 or 8 course meal which was on offer.
