Room was small. The outlook from our room was kitchen flues and aircon ducts. Two small single beds pushed together. We felt insecure turning over!

Wonderful position opposite the harbour. Good restaurant downstairs. Good breakfast. Secure bike storage.

Room was small and noise from restaurant made it difficult to leave the window open, it was very hot and a fan was supplied but not good for those who go to bed early!

The hotel room was really nice - with a superb view on the port. It exceeded our expectations, and the staff were friendly and welcoming! We were literally next to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was really good as well with a nice view. Would definitely go back there!

The parking was obscure and we should have been given the name of the parking area for Google Maps purposes.

The breakfast was amazing! Very friendly staff and although we checked in very late 22h00, we had a wonderful stay.

There is only a small suggestion we had for the rooms. We flew in from Toronto Canada and a few where impacted by a jet lag, resulting in a very early wake up time. This is one of the reasons we booked the rooms with a view on the lake. We would have rated this accommodation a 10 out of 10 if we would have been able to enjoy this view with a coffee. So a small coffee / Espresso machine in the room would have been very nice.

Almost everything. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms very clean and the view on the lake amazing. The breakfast in the morning was plenty and very nice. When we visit Volendam again, we will definitely not hesitate to book this accommodation again.

Tea/coffee making in room would be nice. This is VERY 1st world.... but a warm croissant in the morning would be lovely.

The cheese served at breakfast was spoiled. They should be more careful about this. If you're bothered by music and human voices, think again, as the hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor.

Access to the hotel was extremely difficult. Roads blocked with bolards and one way streets.

Hotel location in the heart of where we wanted to stay. One of the best breakfasts for a 3* property in Europe. Dinner at their restaurant: very good as well. Room size: acceptable by Netherlands standards. Personelle: awesome. Parking: A five minute walk to the property ( located in pedestrian only area ).

We had the economy room on the back of the building. During our stay it was above 20 degrees but behind our room was the roof of the kitchen with all ventilation systems. We could smell the food being prepared in the kitchen and hear the ventilation systems and for that reason it was difficult to open windows or door to cool down the room.

Location, restaurant, breakfast and staff were great.
