There are quite a lot of flies everywhere at the hotel - at the restaurants and pool area. I am not sure why as such since I do not see any issue with cleanliness. But yes, the flies are certainly annoying!

Property is well maintained although it is not as sprawling as Four Seasons, Tanjung Rhu or St Regis. It certainly meet the name of SMALL luxury hotel. I like the food as it was delicious.. we tried at different places for lunch, dinner and breakfast. All are exceptional. Pool is also nice but we were not able to swim in the sea coz we were informed by the receptionist to refrain from going into the sea as there are jellyfish around. However, I did see some people still swimming in the sea though and they were fine.

Very accessible to the airport . Lovely touch was as we were checking in one of the ladies came down & gave us a short neck & shoulder massage. Fantastic facilities I happened to pass by the kids area where they have activities inside & I was so impressed with it . Gym was great lots of different equipment, few different pools to swim in easy access to beach . Staff were so friendly & efficient especially the lady that did our check in . We ate in The Italian restaurant which was delicious & our breakfast in the main dining was really good. Options for every kind of palate. The garden was very nice also with different features and possible to feed the fish with food the staff provide. Rooms were excellent very spacious & had a colonial feel . Beds very big & super comfortable as were pillows. Towel were bath sheets very nice . Had a cocktail in the bar before they have a happy hour staff very attentive & friendly. Very nice boutique and the lady managing was very knowledgeable.

Our recent 5-night stay at The Danna Langkawi was nothing short of spectacular. The staff were all very friendly and very accommodating. Food and beverage menu were all delicious and they had great variety of breakfast spread (local and international menu). Our room was very comfortable and if possible do try out their sea view rooms. Spa service was very relaxing too.

There was piped air freshener in the room; Strong enough to be overpowering. We were given a different room where it was less strong. This was all arranged very efficiently. I personally think that air fresheners are intrusive and would not use them in bedrooms.

4th visit to Danna. Breakfast was good. Restaurant was good. Pool is lovely. Rooms are beautiful.

I love everything about the hotel except for some small details, broken pool tiles and broken pool table in the game room, looks like not well maintained, and cutleries are not that clean. Otherwise, everything is perfect

Great location! Nestled in a secluded area with its own wide private beach, with the view of the mountains and the trees around the vicinity. Beautiful poolside, excellent poolside service, good breakfast and dinner buffet, Italian restaurant was also very good! Rooms are huge with a huge bathroom, with big windows overlooking the mountains.

Entertainment in the bar was ok but could have been more ambient. Would have been nice to be able to walk to other restaurants - all the ones in the immediate are seemed to be ‘temporarily closed’

Lovely setting on beach front with beautiful beach. Staff were very friendly, very attentive. Lovely rooms. Pool was amazing - one of the best I have ever used. Good restaurant and staff advised on other places to eat (need taxi for these but Jon no problem in arranging) We upgraded to a sea view room and were pleased we did- both because it was a beautiful view to wake up to every morning, and also the marina view rooms overlooked a lot of empty buildings (needs a bit of looking after but not the hotel’s responsibility)
