We found there were not a lot of amenities in the room. So if you need tv/coffee machine /kettle / fridge this is not in the room and perhaps the area is not for you. Tipping housekeeping was also a thing that was requested which is the first time I have ever encountered this. We did it but really would prefer the hotel just to include this in price

Location was great, sunbeds on the water were amazing and very relaxing throughout the day. It does take a day or two to settle in and the food at the hotel is good considering the price. Be prepared to pay higher than normal pricing. The front staff helped us with an issue in room booking, the room we were assigned Posideon was very noisy with music.

We didn't enjoy the bathroom much. It was kind of outside but had a roof so it got very humid. The water in the shower was weird, smelly and salty. It was duable for few days stay. Bad wifi connection in the room, but great at the beach. :)

Perfect location, quite and beautiful beachfront. Lots of cabanas, beach beds and lounge chairs. All the staff from the receptionists to the beach club bartenders and housekeepers were very friendly and helpful. Beach club food was also great. You can also join morning yoga class with ocean view that we really enjoyed.

There was no WiFi signal in our room (Olympic), so we sat in the chairs right outside the room or on the deck overlooking the beach road when we wanted/needed to go online. Not a huge deal, but somewhat annoying.

The beach is absolutely beautiful, the cabanas/beach beds and lounge chairs are comfortable, and all the staff - from the receptionists Ennio and Coty, to the beach club bartender and wait staff, to the housekeepers - is very friendly and helpful. Drinks and food are very good. Our room (Olympic) & bathroom had rustic charm and were very clean and spacious. Housekeeping is great with room cleaning and filling the pitcher daily with drinking water. Upon check-in, guests are given one free WiFi access code per guest per device (so if you have a cell phone and a laptop, you need an additional code). The hotel does not have parking, but the scooter rental place directly across the street has a big lot at a good rate (we paid 200 pesos per 24 hrs). Plenty of restaurants are within walking distance, as is Ven a la Luz. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Very nice location in Tulum, right on the best part of the beach. Very nice access to the beach and plenty of sunbeds. Rather expensive and the restaurant was ok but expensive. Rooms ok not perfect.

- it was a bit loud due to the non insulated straw roof - the lunch menu starts only at 12:30 and they make no exception :( hence we had to go out for food a few times as we wanted to have no breakfast but an early lunch

- the room was quite unique with a rustic built and straw roof (Poseidon) - great beach bar with sunbeds, beachfront and very nice food (I recommend Alquimia guacamole and fish tacos) - the staff was very nice - the massage was good value for money

Unfortunately our room had a problem with the drains - the smell coming out of the sinks was unbearable at times and completely stunk out the room. Should be an easy fix to put a pipe with a u-bend in which should help stop the smell coming out. This is the main reason we couldnt score the hotel higher. The room could do with some coffee/tea making facilities - the restaurant doesn’t open until 9am meaning you have a to wait a while to have a morning drink. The room was very dark making it quite hard to put makeup on in the evening - some more/brighter lights would help.

The property is in a great location - right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and pharmacies. The staff were really lovely & helpful. The restaurant on the beach is great - really good cocktails, good food & chilled atmosphere which is nice compared to a lot of the other beach clubs further up the beach. Having walked up and down the beach daily - there was no where else we wanted to be!

I was very unsatisfied with the transportation from the airport to my hotel, and from the hotel to the airport. I was not assigned the room that I paid for due to a booking error.

The staff was very good. Massage therapist meybi ensure I was relaxed before my trip home. The beach club was my favorite part of the hotel.

The bed was a little hard but nothing to put me off coming back!

The room we selected wasn't available when we arrived at the property because of a glitch in the system - but to make up for it, the staff gave us a room which looked equally good to the one I'd booked and added in free breakfast which definitely made up for it - the coffee was so good and the huevos rancheros was the best I've had in Mexico, and right on the beach! The staff were very friendly, spoke good English and very attentive. The pool and the massage beds next to the waves was just what we needed to escape. We were a bit jet lagged and still working on English time but this gave the best opportunity to watch the sunrise on the beach which was magical! I've already recommended alquimia to family and I'd definitely go back, and I also love the focus on eco tourism that's prevalent here

No coffee in rooms, the water for showers and in sinks was unfiltered and salty. There was a chemical smell from something that was fixed before we entered the room, but otherwise we enjoyed ourselves and it was comfortable and cute.

Staff was lovely and very helpful. They assisted us in booking a shuttle service to and from the airport. They were communicative and as helpful as could be. The hotel location is right in the middle of everything so it is easy to get around. There is a food truck roundup and bar steps from the hotel and there is also a cab que there as well.

Tulum is expensive against the Aud$. Add that to the loud music from most of the restaurants and hotels and it took away the peaceful few days we were looking for. Alquimia was great as it was quieter. It does need some upgrades but l am sure post Covid many hotels are still recovering.

Great location. Restaurant for breakfast and lunch was amazing. Hotel is small and right on the beach. It is nice and quiet as msny around have loud music playing day and night. It needs a bit of TLC but is good value and comfy. The massage person was excellent and we would wake to green sea tutrle tracks all along the beach! Beautiful spot.

Our room was on the first floor and on one of the nights we could hear noise coming from the rooms above. Luckily it lasted for about 20 min, so it wasn't anything too bad. The room could use a few more power outlets and ours only had one for the entire room. I always bring a power strip for those reasons, so this is something to keep in mind.

The location is perfect, with lots of restaurants and places around to visit. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the hotel installations are very well maintained. The parking across the street is helpful (aside from the price of 200 pesos per night), but it's good to have it right there. Abd the rooftop viewing deck is AWESOME, we loved it!!!

- There was no hot water in the shower. Although it wasn't a big issue for us as it was very hot. - Parking was across the road for an additional charge on a 24 hour basis. During the night the parking area was shut. We came back just in time before it was shut, otherwise we would have to look for another parking place. - There was no tea and coffee facilities in the room. In the morning, we had to wait till 9 o'clock for the kitchen to open to get a cup of coffee. - At the time of booking, the room rate was quoted by booking.com in US dollars, but upon arrival I was charged in Mexican pesos at a very unfavorable rate. Thus, our stay was much more expensive than I originally expected.

The location of the hotel is right on the beach. It's the quieter side of the beach, there were only a few people around us, and within walking distance to the restaurants in the evening. We upgraded our room to a presidential suite. This is definitely the best room in the hotel. This is a comfortable spacious room. There is a patio outside the room with a table and chairs, where you can sit and admire a beautiful sea view. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel is on the quieter side of Tulum beach which is great for family. We got upgraded to presidential suite which is right on the beach. If was amazing! The staff is really friendly, and the food is really good too!

lighting in room is quite dark if you were putting make up on, air conditioning doesn’t really cool room due to angle and size of room, no USB portals, sink didn’t drain properly, no TV

large room, large bed, great shower, beach club - food was amazing and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants and the loungers were very comfortable and included with towel for guests at hotel plus beach staff exceptionally nice, pool, good amount of sun exposure and shade available, clear sea area, good coffee spots nearby, Wi-Fi good and available on beach, able to contact reception via WhatsApp
