I had a pleasant stay at LUV with my family, traveling with two kids aged six and three. Even though we arrived just after a hurricane, the hotel did their best go give us the best stay.

Some minor things could use more maintenance, like the lock on the door to our room was rusted out, but they promptly replaced it as soon as we brought it up. There was a lovely little area with tables and chairs behind our palapa but it seemed like it hadn’t been used for a while so the chairs and tables could’ve used a wipe.

The location was great, far away enough from the busier sections of the hotel zone so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. It really did feel like Tulum from several years ago. The beach in front of the property was probably the best part of the whole stretch of beaches, and the staff did a great job keeping the sargassum in check.

Magical Place is like Tulum 15 years ago, the staff is amazing , the room is cozy and has a feeling of home , beach is fantastic, food is a reasonable price and delicious. I highly recommend this place for whom ever wants to go to the original Tulum

Incredible private beach, privileged position close to everything, but still peaceful. The staff are helpful and friendly and create a fun & relaxed atmosphere. Our room was the closest to the sea in all Tulum.

Each "room/suite" is a private cabin with a thatched roof, which isn't an issue in and of itself however, it does little to keep out bugs and mice. But that also just comes with being in the jungle- just something to keep in mind! There's also no AC, but all the doors are screened so you can sleep with them open and enjoy the ocean breeze.

My partner and I were looking for a smaller, affordable, no-frills (but romantic) hotel with a private beach, and not only was LUV Tulum perfect for this, but it exceeded all of our expectations. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, and was always happy to give us recommendations for places to go, things to do, etc. The food and drinks were delicious, and the continental breakfast, while light, was great. LUV is a small place, which makes the whole experience feel more catered and intimate. The beach and facilities were kept extremely clean and the hotel made a point of cleaning the excess seaweed (sargasso) each morning. We went on one of the hotel's private excursions to the Coba ruins and the jungle and it was SO fun. Could not recommend this place enough. We will be back for sure!

perfect location, our room was exactly on the beach, even though it was seaweed season, they were cleaning it actively. staff was super nice and friendly, breakfast include was quite small and basic, but that is the only downside if I have to point anything out. otherwise amazing experience

Air conditioning was missing.

The location on beach and the area was very good. The beach team and room staff all very good. The only thing that was missing was air conditioning. But it was a great location and the atmosphere was top. Small location for Romantik break.
