The island has guest (bikini) beach, which is beautiful and is cleaned every day. However, some remaining parts of the beach are polluted and I have been assured by local residents that this will be improved

I spent 2 weeks on Maamigili Island in this residence. I can recommend accommodation here for the following reasons: - cleanliness, the hotel is new - Very good price - breakfast - is to choose your preferences in terms of ingredients (pancakes, omelette, oatmeal, fruit and others) - communication with employees at a high level. -The hotel manager Rai is available throughout the holiday and helped me achieve a relaxing holiday without any complications

The island were is located is not that touristic and there were a lot of mosquitoes unfortunately. It’s not the host fault at all, they did an amazing job, just the Island isn’t the best one.

In general, the facility has no downside :) The only thing missing from my room was the side nightstands on both sides of the bed, but I know the facility has already ordered them :)

The Vilu Residence facility exceeded our expectations. The property manager Rai and the entire staff made us feel like special and welcome guests (from the moment we arrived from Male to the moment we left). Their level of empathy and anticipation of our expectations and preferences can be compared to staying at a 5 star resort. The staff, at our request, completely planned and provided us with several excursions to neighbouring islands (including Dhigurah, Dhiddhoo and Fenfushi). When staying at Vilu Residence, it is worth booking the additional excursions offered by the property: dolphin watching, swimming with whale sharks and swimming with sea turtles on the reef. Their price is moderate and adequate. The facility is new, incredibly clean and ergonomic (everything is in its place). Wifi and air conditioning worked perfectly. Once out of the room, guests have exclusive use of the intimate and elegant patio (which makes the space available to guests much larger). The bikini beach is about a 5-minute walk away. The excellent breakfasts served directly by Rai are to be commended (in particular the slightly spicy original Maldivian-style breakfasts). Standard continental-style breakfasts are also available. The island of Maamigili itself is a good location in terms of transport (airport, regular ferry connections to other islands and about 1 hour and 45 minutes by speed boat from Malé (making the cost of getting from Malé lower and shorter than to other more distant atolls). I wholeheartedly recommend Vilu Residence and Rai. We will definitely be returning.

Trust all the positive reviews here, like I did, and you'll have an amazing stay here. There's not much to do on the island of Maamigili besides diving or snorkeling, but this hotel made my time on this island simply fantastic. I came here after a 5-star resort, and honestly didn't notice any difference in the quality of service :) Everything, from communication in the chat, organizing transfers to and from the island, absolute cleanliness and coziness of the room, was simply top-notch. The guys help with all questions, solve all problems, are extremely caring and friendly to their guests, and just great guys to talk to and be around. They'll advise, assist, organize, feed, and transport you. I'm honestly in love with this place and can confidently recommend it again and again.

First of All, this property is brand new. Recently opened and it has lovely exterior and interior. What’s even make this a perfect stay on the island is the hosts / owners of this place. We stayed for few nights and we have to say we were blown away by their hospitality . Super caring and respectful to their guests. Exceptional breakfast and trips arranged by them was a great experience . Definitely Recommend to all and it was a perfect stay. Thank you ❤️❤️

I can’t overstate this enough, this is an amazing property with five star service, if you are lucky enough to be able to book here you will understand that the owners come from the top resorts on the island to provide you with a beautiful and private affordable five star experience. Nothing really! Would have been handy to have a bedside table and have the water replenished more frequently but otherwise it was a perfect stay!

Very very friendly owner - went out of his way to helping us. Great breakfast - tried some Maldivian specialities which was great! Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. Lovely clean spacious room with good AC. WiFi stable and around 10MBPS

The day trips are over priced which is a big shame.

We had a great stay Vilu Residence. Super helpful staff, ultra clean and new room. Short walk to the beautiful local bikini beach and the best Restaurant, The Beak. We were greeted with fresh coconuts and cold towels, there was a bowl of fruit in the room too. Breakfast was great, a mix of western and local food and lots of it. We had bought some food to cook and the owner let us use the kitchen to prepare the food, he really went out of his way to get the extra things we needed. The rooms were so clean and comfortable like being in a 5*hotel. You will really enjoy your stay here. Great value for money.
