Exceptional, strong recommendation for this hotel!!! From the moment of reception at the hotel until the moment of departure, the hotel staff made sure that we had a pleasant stay. Starting from the day of arrival, where the hotel staff offered to unload our luggage (4 suitcases) from the buggy (the electric car that ensured our transfer from the port to the hotel), and they carried them up to the second floor where we were staying. I would like to mention the moment of arrival, where the reception staff welcomed us with coconut juice which was very refreshing, The room was very spacious, clean, with all the necessary facilities (TV, air conditioning, WiFi with good signal, safety deposit box, slectric kettle, hairdryer, daily housekeeping ... practically everything you need for a pleasant stay). Rupam and Bajrang were the guys who made sure that all our wishes were fulfilled, they took care of everything we needed and solved it (phone card with very good internet traffic, buggy as many times as we needed, breakfast at 6:30 in the morning before we left on an organized trip, money exchange at a very good rate, ... any complaint was fulfilled). The hotel provides free sun umbrellas, snorkeling (snorkel, diving mask and swimfins), even the possibility to wash the sand on your feet when returning from the beach, before entering the room. Mohamed Faaig (the owner) came personally to say goodbye to the guests and accompanied us to the port to make sure that everything was in order until the speedboat departure from the port to Male. Many thanks to the entire hotel staff (Bajrang, Rupam and obviously the owner Mohamed) who made sure that we will have a pleasant stay at their place.

He was very attentive and helpful and as he cooked the breakfast and dinner, very good cook as well! We chose the account with breakfast and dinner, every day was something else and all the food was tasty. I would recommend it for a budget holiday with experiencing local culture and interacting with locals.

Best experience ever! Location in walking distance to numerous beaches and lots of shops. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable staff. We will be back again no doubt! Shaggy and Nafis helped is with all our queries about the island, excursions, food and any other questions we had! Hotel is fairly new.

Treated us to delicious dinners, taught a non-swimmer like myself to snorkel, and dealt with every little requirement that we had. The rooms were brilliant as well. SlovakiaThe bike rentals should be included in the room rate. They are quite handy. The hotel should have a laundry service available to the guests. However, the staff was so nice and friendly, that they did laundry for us anyway, to be specific, Shaggy 😬
Everything at Jeym Lodge was clean and well laid out. The room was spacious and had all the amenities that are expected. A fridge, safe, coffee, fresh towels every day, including beach towels. The hotel is situated in the central part of the island, there are nice restaurant around and you can access both guest beaches within a couple of minutes of walk. The staff especially was quite friendly and accommodating. We felt they really cared about our well being. They organized trips for us and answered every question. Also, we could not be more happy about the dinners at Jeym Lodge, they were exceptional. The cook always came by after dinner and asked how the food was. We were pleasantly surprised, when the staff asked us at our first dinner, what kind of food we like and they tried to accommodate out tastes as much as they could after that. Also, they provide snorkelling gear for their guests for free. The experience was great and I would recommend anyone to go to Jeym Lodge when they visit Thoddoo in Maldives.

We are absolutely delighted about our stay at Jeym Lodge: 1) The guest house is brand new and you have absolutely everything you need in the room 2) Everything on the island is in walking or cycling proximity from jeym, very enjoyable experience to experience the island 3) The beach is simply fantastic and you can see beautiful fishes and turtles right from there, no previous snorkelling experience is needed 4) all the excursions can be organised from the reception and we had great experience from the sand bank and night fishing 5) last but not least, personal and particularly Mohamed makes you feel like you are in 5 star resort: all the asks are fulfilled within minutes and you have overall very well looked after experience Definitely will come back to Thoddoo and Jeym lodge!
