The equipments and internal decoration is alittle bit older which need refurbishment , there are less fish and marine creatures comparing which we saw here with 14 years ago when we visited on first time .

The phone in the room didn't work. The concierge knew that some phones were having issues and just kind of laughed it off like "Oh yeah some handsets don't work, just use the speaker." Um no? Maybe it should be looked at and fixed? The A/C in the bedroom took 2.5 days to fix and it was as simple as cleaning the filter. Made for an unfortunately uncomfortable first few nights as the bed got hot since the covers and pillows were all down feather. We did a spa treatment (not cheap) and they didn't check the whirlpool beforehand, it was broken so we didn't get to enjoy it. We couldn't even tell anyone about it since they left us there for awhile alone (I guess for privacy?) and we had no way of calling someone to tell them. Communication with the assigned concierge was definitely lacking and I found myself on more than one occasion reminding them of my scheduled activities. For what we paid, I expected much much more in terms of service from the concierge point of view. They canceled a planned excursion (not enough people booked), which is fine. However, they didn't let me know until the night before, at 9pm, so we didn't have enough time to plan something else and I feel like we lost a day where we could have substituted with another activity. It really was the little details and fallouts where they lost points for me. With an assigned personal concierge, there is no reason any details should be remiss. They lost many opportunities to tell us about upcoming events, movie nights, etc. They could have even scheduled the buggy to pick us up from our room for our planned dinners or activities which only happened once or twice. Instead, most everything was left up in the air, which was a little too relaxed in that aspect for me. Had I not already known a ton about this resort because I researched it, I would have been even more disappointed with the little information they gave us.

The food was absolutely delicious and the Food&Beverage manager (Shark) introduced himself to us and knew us by name. His staff is excellent! I didn't eat a single bad thing during my stay, and there were things on those menus I would have never chosen for myself. The chefs are also very professional and genuinely care for your opinion & criticism (not that I had any complaint!). The views are second to none. The atmosphere was very relaxed and it was just what we needed- a getaway from city life. Wifi access was very decent! Even out on the beach. We got to tour the Muraka with the underwater bedroom. It was gorgeous. The dive center marine biologist Emma was very knowledgeable and she showed us a great time! We saw every kind of animal you could imagine, wonderful wildlife anywhere you look. The grounds are clean and well maintained. There were not a million people (off season for them) and we were able to walk everywhere barefoot and without masks.
