The location came close to staying in paradise. The tree cabana was very comfortable and the owners were welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay memorable, regardless of the spouse being days away from giving birth to their first child.

Lovely place, a bit far out of Tangalle, but right on a beautiful part of the beach and right next to turtle nesting sites if you're in the right season. Look for Saman on the beach, he's a lovely guy and will take you to the sites. Very respectful of the turtles. The family that run it are absolutely lovely, and the restaurant is good quality and reasonably priced.

An absolutely fantastic place, you are sitting in the jungle and you can actually hear the sound of the ocean (the name of the facility does not lie). The beach is wonderful, you can watch turtles. Great hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was perfect! We stayed 3 nights. A really nice and helpful family. They were always available and ready to help us. For example one night we arrived a bit late and they still cooked dinner for us which was very nice. They also have laundry service. The room was big and clean with a nice balcony. The location is very nice, you are surrounded by nature and very close to the beach. The food was really really tasty and there was a lot of choice. This was definitely one of our best stays in Sri Lanka!

Nice new big room, with very comfortable huge bed. Amazing terasse with nice view to garden. Sitting here you can always hear sea waves from the beach which is 300 m walk distance. Restaurant offers very tasty food. I really recommend this place in case you look for quite stay.

There are many mosquitos so bring insect repellent. It's rather far from the center of Tangalle. It's about a 25min walk to the busstop at the mainroad. From there you can take any bus to the Tangalle busstation/town (40 LKR one way).

Wonderful place at a 5min walk from Tangalle beach. Very friendly family who runs the place. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and you have a nice patio to relax in front of the cabana. The room was clean. We enjoyed the tranquility of this part of Tangalle a lot. There's a very high chance of seeing monkeys in the neighborhood and seeing turtles nesting nearby in the evening.

This place is very remote but very peaceful and beautiful. The family who own it are very kind and helpful. Even helping with the recovery of our phone days after we had left which we had lost in a tuk tuk. It is a short walk to the Rekawa Beach but to note this beach is much too dangerous for swimming or even for children to play by the water. Stunning and so quiet though. The cabanas are simple but the place is very well kept and very clean. Food was good too.

Huge and comfortable bed. Massive bathroom with a hot and a cold shower. Quiet a night, and had lovely outdoor private seating. Perfect location for the beach and turtle spotting. Little further out of town.

An absolutely great experience to stay at Sea Sound. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and they e.g. cocked a great seafood Christmas dinner and took us fishing. It is located 3 min. walk from the beach, where there is a small turtle sanctuary, where they release the baby turtles around 18.30 pm. (Dec.-Jan.). Quiet place. Great for relaxing and for families.

We loved our3 nights stay at Sea sound. Very good location, quiet except for the many peacocks early morning, lovely family and yummy banana pancakes and homemade yogurt for breakfast. Spacious room and very comfortable bed.

Everything was perfect.

Bungalows, porches(with hammocks!), garden - both accomodation and surrounding area is convenient and pleasant, nice to hang out even on hottest days. Bungalow itself is clean, spacious and conveniently arranged. The family owning the place is very nice and helpful, offered numerous advice, arranged great trip to Yala and transfer to Ella. The driver affiliated with the hotel is also sincerely nice and helpful person. Great food, nice variety of breakfasts - although Sri Lankan variant beats the other options (remember to ask for on previous). Place is remote it takes 10 minutes with tuk tuk to reach town. This has benefits as quiet at night(you hear just the animals and the sea of course), but be aware there are not much shopping options in surrounding area. But that's not a big problem as hotel's restaurant has or can arrange in short time most stuff you will need. The beach is couple of minutes walk, pretty and empty but hard to find a safe place for swimming(rough waves). There are some nice bars scattered along the beach in nearby area.

We had the most lovely stay here. The family that runs the place is so nice and helpful. The cabanas are simple but completely perfect. Everything was super clean and it was the perfect stay. The beach is only 3 min within a walk and we rented scooters over the owner for a fair price. It is a very quiet place where you will have a very relaxed stay. The food was delicious!! Would totally recommend and would love to stay here again

One of the nicest places I stayed at in Sri Lanka. Beautiful rooms with terraces in a very nice garden. Delicious rice and curry, pancakes and fruit plates. Very friendly hosts and very close to the beach. Huge recommendation!

Sri Lankan breakfast was really good! Loved the location of the cabanas, very relaxing. Beautiful beach a 2 minute walk away was almost empty. Could watch the baby turtles hatch there at night! Amazing value for money staying here 😊 Probably best to stay here if you have your own transport or just want a relaxing/unbusy beach stay!

the property is cheap and so great ! just in front of the ocean with nobody. a beautiful garden to relax and the host is really amazing with his guest. always here to help and a complete breakfast. you can also rent a board for nothing and the spot is in front of you ! I recommand it for sure
