Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanThe high prices for the gym. This is the first time I have experienced having to pay extra to utilize facilities within a hotel. I think the price is too high for daily use

United KingdomThe hotel room even though it was beautiful, the air conditioning didn’t really work properly, it made a lot of noise and the room was very hot/humid most of the time. The charge for the gym is not included and it has an exorbitant cost for 1 day use at £33. It also opens at 10am which is an inconvenience if you want to finish your workout before breakfast.
Beautiful rooms (we stayed in the newly renovated ones) and a super grandious hotel. Good location in a nice neighbourhood, located close to a few metro stations. Hotel is impecable, very clean, it’s a huge property with shops and many restaurants, but it does feel like it had its glory days in a different era, it’s not a modern hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the staff is very attentive.

SingaporeThe cost of staying in this hotel is a bit expensive, nothing interesting near the hotel.
I love the free shuttle bus service provided that goes to and fro to Osaka Station. The location of the hotel was good, there's train station near the hotel and also at Basement 2 as well. Super convenient to travel but nothing much near the hotel. Overall, it was great! I may book and stay at this hotel in future.

AustraliaThe A La Carte dinner experience in the Remone restaurant was average.
The buffet Breakfast in the Remone restaurant was amazing. Fabulous selection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially the concierge who helped with specific shopping requests, even ringing the store for us to enquire in Japanese. Very convenient have 7/11 in the hotel for snacks and drinks. The shuttle bus service to Osaka Station was an essential part of the whole experience- it made getting around very easy.

United KingdomRooms might be slightly dated nowadays, the bathrooms could probably do with a refurbish but still nice! Be aware swimming pool does require swim cap but the pool does sell them as well.
Lovely rooms, a convenience store underground next to the hotel, fantastic shuttle bus to Osaka station.

AustraliaWhen I have to pay to use the gym, and it's expensive. This is my first experience with a hotel charging their clients/customers for gym usage.
Room is smaller. Location is very good. The best part is the hotel has their own shuttle bus to take you to & from city proper.

New ZealandThe food was excellent but it didn't seem like they had many cheaper and easier options available. Whilst having a train downstairs it does not run as often as other subway trains in Japan so a little more planning went into our days, it's good they have a transfer bus to the JR Station but it would be nice if it stopped at the closest one 1km away also, Fukishima. Finally we were quite excited that it had a pool but finding out that it's not included in our stay and would cost each of us over 3000 yen each to use really put us off.
Great room sizes and excellent facilities, loved having a train station in the basement and different bars and restaurants to choose from inside. The room was extremely well priced in comparison to other similar hotels around Japan. Tiny bit dated overall but they are renovating so should be premium in the future and everything was still nice clean and tidy regardless.
