This is not a modern trendy hotel. It felt more traditional. One downside is the Orange Ginza line station was a little bit farther walking than red Asakusa station. Normally it would not be considered far but we went back and forth to that Ginza line many times a day and after long day of walking, it felt far. Also this location is not as central. It took 40 min to go to Shibuya, Harajuku. 25 min to Ginza. However, this is close to Akihabara, Ueno.

This hotel room was surprising spacious. Room was very clean and well maintained. They provided lots of bathroom amenities and Illy coffee pod machine. Many restaurants nearby! Convenient stores nearby. 24 hour laundry near by (onsite one had 2 machines and limited operating hours). Staffs were very kind and helpful.

This time, the hotel felt more like a 3* hotel. Once the cleaning team forgot the rag in the room 🤔. The cafe downstairs used to be nice and welcoming with cake, now it's like a caterers service or something. The room for 2 is the same size as the triple room, not good if you are a family of 3 like us. The downstairs restaurant was closed most of the time. After covid, the hotel has unfortunately lost a bit of his appeal.

This is our 2nd time at this hotel. It has changed since 2019, and not for the better. Positive points the staff are lovely, helpful, and overall nice, and the location is great.

We came to hotel very late at 22.00 o'clock but the check-in staff took time a lot to clear the different bookings in each period while we feel very exhausted. (We have to contact the one who can talk Japanese to make her understand and let us go to the room) There're some spots left in the toilet and long dirty dust on the air shade of air condition. Hotel location is quite far from train station while there's many bars and pubs along the road to the hotel. Then we have to avoid drunkards when we went back hotel in the night.

We stayed 2 night with Booking.com. Hotel is big like their rooms that make us feel relax but our room does not renovate at all. The staff is also helpful and nice.

Use of the swimming pool included in the cost of the room Milk and sugar in the room most of the customers looked europeans and they use milk and sugar More flexibility in the checking out time

The room was very comfortable but not exceptional in the fittings, it had a great views but I would have expected that for £150/night there would be more than two sachets of instant coffee, no sugar or milk in the room. The location was very good as suitable for direct bus transfer from Haneda airport and close by to both the metro and the express train. It had a superb supermarket about 10 meters away and a 7/11 (very convenient opening hours and ATM suitable for foreign cards) across the road. The hotel is walking distance from Senso-ji the temple and a huge area of small shops, it is in an area with loads of small restaurants but yet it does not feel too touristy. It is walking distance to many places and there is a good network of buses in that road. The staff was very agreable and although the hotel was very inflexible about early or late check in/out there is a really useful luggage locking room they allowed me to use up to very late the night I was leaving as my flight was at midnight and my check out at 12 noon. I did not use any of the facilities including breakfast as I prefered trying the local places, I was disapointed to find I could not use the pool unless I paid extra. I would have added that cost in the cost of the room and make it possible. It felt a little off. I would probably use it again as it felt very safe and i was travelling solo but 10 days before i stayed in the same area in an airbnb for a quater of the price so I am not sure I could really justify the expense.

The dining and bar facilities were either closed earlier than we expected or would not accept us because they were full - The Ice Bar - at about 2100 hrs on Saturday night and when we dined on two nights we could not order later than 2000 hrs. Perhaps this is Japanese custom but in such a large hotel at the weekend we expected more flexibility. There were fitness facilities but these were only open for ‘club’ members which was not explained when I booked . Again, for a hotel of this size in a city like Tokyo I was disappointed not to be able to use the gym.

The room was very spacious, the beds were comfortable , the subway stations were a short walk away and it was close to several attractions .

While Asakusa being a more serene and relaxed area of tokyo. The hotel is an 8 minute walk from the nearest Ginza line station. The hotel is a bit pricey.

Great hotel, staff were super helpful. The rooms were clean, comfy. You have a kombini(grocery store) just across the road. 5 minute walking distance to senso-ji. Area is very quiet which would fit you if you need a bit of space from the overwhelming centre of Tokyo. The view from the room was amazing(we got to see mt fuji!)

The building is old, and it shows in specific details. The ventilation system had a particular smell that made the room slightly unpleasant as you walked in. We had to ask for a special key to open the -very high- window and ventilate every evening. The famous Japanese toilets are usually spotless, but in this case, some of the gadgets within the machine had moldy corners. It's probably time for a renewal. While these details didn't spoil the overall experience, they took points away from what could be a perfect intro to Japan's capital city.

The location was unbeatable and an excellent start to a Tokyo visit. The city is known for its hectic pace and massive scale, and the Asakusa area -while busy- still has many streets and shops with a neighborhood feel to them. Senso-ji temple, Kaminarimon gate, and Nakamise-dori Street are just steps away. The view over Sumida City and the Skytree from the room is a fantastic treat at any time of the day and with any weather. The breakfast and dinner experiences were superb, with a wide variety of treats in both Western and Japanese kitchens. The expansive windows in the dining rooms were also part of the treat, with beautiful morning and evening views from the top floors. The staff was exceptional, accommodating, and kind at all times, 10/10 for them.

We are a family of five and got two rooms next to each other. The rooms were nice and clean and with a view over the city. What we liked most about the hotel was the breakfast and the great view over the city while having breakfast. When you just arrived in Japan you immediately feel that you are in the city. Also the breakfast (though not cheap) has such a good selection of japanese and western food - cold and warm. A lot of the local things we wanted to try, we had right there for breakfast. Also the staff at the reception were very friendly and it was useful that there was a washing machine and dryer. Furthermore the location (Asakusa) is great. Lots of nice places to eat and handy convenient stores around the corner and some typical Japanese places like a cat cafe.

It felt a little outdated and the interior was basic. Additionally, it was quite expensive considering how much I paid for another night elsewhere. Overall it was fine. I also didn't like the sign that said I could have a massage in the room, it might be normal, but I felt a little uncomfortable.

The staff were lovely and the location was great. I was first put in a smoking room, which may have been my booking fault, but was so small and smelt. The staff so kindly moved me to a different room and I felt much happier.

The hotel needs sprucing. It's considered a 4 star but it does not live up to it. The carpets in the hallways and in our room was so stained and old. The bedspread was old and stained as well. They need to invest in new carpeting and bedspreads. Then their hotel will be perfect. Really everyone is mentioning these negative points in their reviews for years, maybe they should start listening?

The location was the best selling point of this hotel. Not only was it near a lot shops and restaurants. Sensoji Temple was walkable and stalls and instagramable street food was so near. Loved that the Haneda bus stops in this hotel so I don't have scramble in trains nor take expensive taxis. Seven- eleven stores were near and also Lawson. Don Quijote is so near as well. The staff were so nice and helpful and friendly. The view was spectacular as well. It was almost breathtaking the first time you draw back the curtains.

looked a little dirty but could have just been that it needed an upgrade.

Hotel was a little tired, and the floors did not look that clean, could have been the age of the carpet. Generally happy though. Good location close to trains and more affordable accommodation. very strict on check in times. Great view though.
