Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyRooms are, like mostly anywhere in Tokyo, very tiny. If you are travelling with one or two large suitcases, you are going to struggle to open them both at the same time in the room. It's very cramped. Even the hall doesn't exist in practice, there's literally no space for anything. The choice of restaurants at night is limited, so you might need to change area to widen your choices
The property is nicely located in a quiet, central neighbourhood of Tokyo. There are 3 metro stations in walking distance and you can pretty much go everywhere easily. The neighbourhood is very different from the bustling areas of Shinjuku and Shibuya. It is much quieter and relaxing for those looking for a laid-back experience. The room itself is basic, yet nice. It has everything you need for your stay in Tokyo. The hotel is modern and staff are courteous

PolandThe room was too small to accommodate two people with big suitcases. Sometimes it was hard to move around.
Everything was very clean, very close to metro station, really quiet neighborhood.

KazakhstanIt was a bit unexpected to get a mandatory cleaning every three days. So just to keep it in mind if you were concerned about your posessions. Rest assured, however, everything was untouched and staff is honorable.
Really wanted to get a higher room and the staff kindly helped me to check if there is availability and gave me 14th floor. For any questions they have an answer or willingness to assist you in finding one.

IndiaOtherwise everything is good.
Room was good but cleaning can be done every alternate day instead of once in 3 days. Coffee and sugar sachets (instead of one you can put 2 numbers. Sometimes in the evening we would like to have some coffee)

The location was near an academic conference I was attending. The roomy had good spacing (for a Japanese hotel) and the room was orderly. I had to use the luggage storage and I was impressed by how helpful the staff were in catering to my needs. I also had a good street view, but I didn't realise until the last night of my stay.

Switzerland- It is not a mistake, not everyone travels that much... :D But if you have huge luggages (because for 4 weeks you need some stuff) - and if 2 people in 1 room - no chance to handle your clothes - the rooms are too small (in every Apa where I stayed). - Attention! - there are a couple of APA Hotels in Tokio (and other big cities throughout Japan)!!! Give the exact address in your GPS in, because otherwise you might end up by an other hotel!
- The hotel is quite central, couple of blocks from the Imperial Palace. - The rooms are very tidy and clean, you have everything you need on a smaller-compact place. - The breakfast is tasty and you can choose from quite a few. - If you are a "QR-Code Junkie and a high-tech-fan", the check in/out system is almost completely digital - but for people with less hightech/more value on human interaction :D - you can have a completely normal check in (in good English! - not always expectable in Japan). - You have a good TV and you can watch even some block-busters (like Transformers or Avatar) free. - You can leave your luggage before and after your stay. - They don't clean every day - super!

FranceThe bed is a bit small and not comfortable for the three of us. There is no public bath and no pool compared with other APA hôtels.
We stayed for 6 nights, with a 1 year baby. It's a good option to discover Tokyo The hotel is well located and The price is fair.

South KoreaOnly thing was that the window was frosted, looking out onto a brick wall from the small crack I could see through when opened. Not a big deal, but I would have really liked a view. However, as I spent most of my time outside the hotel, it didn't matter too much in the end. Noise from construction on the street could be heard during the day, but this is not the fault of the hotel. The sound proofing between rooms is actually excellent. I didn't hear anyone else.
It was really quiet, I couldn't hear any noise from any other rooms. It was clean, and cleaned every day which I didn't expect. On the days I was still in the room at cleaning time or didn't need it cleaned, they left a bag outside my door with a replenishment of amenities. It was a great location, close to 2 subway stops which was so easy and central to where I needed to get to. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet and I really liked the hotel too.
