A lovely understated hotel in the most unspoilt bit of Venice. Easy to get to and from but away from the tourists. Really authentic.

The room was a little small (minor problem!); and it would have been nice to have had a chair for sitting, especially in the evening as I chose not to go out by myself in the dark.

The staff--Sebastiano, Oswaldo, Jessica--were incredible! They were helpful, kind, and understanding; they made me feel so welcome!

The bed & pillow were too hard for my taste, but these are always matters of opinnion. I would have given 10 points with out this!

Excellent place to stay when in Venice, service in the front desk was very good, the breakfast was 10€/person per morning, great start for the day. Nice and quiet surroundings by the canals, it was lovely to stay the night in a more quiet place after heactic days with ’millions’ of other turists every where else. The decorations of the room were beautiful, just as in pictures!

Air conditioning

Amazing hotel decor. Our room was great size, the shower was amazing especially for the price. We also had a side canal view! Great location, but the biggest perk was the lovely receptionist. We’re so sorry we can’t remember her name but she was so helpful and attentive. We were all amazed with the hotel- only downside was the air on that wasn’t working (we couldn’t figure it out). I’m sure it would be sorted if we would speak to the reception. Great small hotel, we would stay there again if coming back to Venice!

Not very near the main attractions (approx 25 min walk with lots of bridges with steps to cross with your luggage). Our room was on the 2nd floor and it was a little tiring carrying the luggage up the stairs

Booked the 'Double Room-Annex'. Very clean and spacious. Room was surprisingly modern. We felt it was good value for money considering the difficulties of finding good Venice accoms

The location was lovely. A more quiet side of Venice, very calm. But it is quite close to center as well. The staff were amazing, very helpful. Would love to stay there again.

Clean, comfortable, very friendly staff around 24/7, and our favourite stay of our whole trip around Italy. This hotel is in a quiet part of Venice, but not far away from the Grand Canal and other touristy spots in Venice. Our room overlooked the canal and the staff really looked after us! The bed was super comfy and the shower was wonderful - it was perfect for our few days stay in Venice. I also liked the fact the hotel staff would hold onto your room keys while you were out, which removed the stress of possibly losing them.

It’s a luck of a draw which room you get assigned… depending on your noise tolerance level. Some rooms are better sound proofed than the others. But that goes for a lot of the older establishments in Venice. Communication is the key. Be nice to the staff.

After we dealt with some noise issues, the stay was good. The hotel manager, Claudia, was very accommodating and tried her best to make us feel at ease. So for that we are grateful for.

This hotel had an excellent spacious room and bathroom. It was cleaned to a very high standard. It was located about a 15 min walk from the bus station. The reception staff were very friendly and were able to offer advice and a map on how to get to the local landmarks. We paid extra for breakfast and the selection was worth it. I would 100% stay there again.

Quiet location with a nice view of the canal, room was renovated and of good size, parquet on the floor, bathroom spacious and with window, clean and tidy. Close to campo santa margherita and 20mins walk from train station. Friendly staff.

You can see it from the map but still bear in mind that it’s quite a long walk from the main attractions and train station.

Very beautifully decorated rooms, clean, new and spacious bathrooms, friendly personnel, affordable mini bar in the room. Only the wine opener was missing from the room although wines from the mini bar couldn’t be opened without it.

Our only discomfort was the fact that our room was on the top floor and there were only stairs to reach it. It was quite hard to get all our luggage up (and down) there but we understand there isn’t much that can be done about it (historical city and all).

The hotel was really good and the staff was nice and friendly. The room was well maintained and the facilities were clean and modern. The breakfast was excellent and it was served early.
