Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwedenThe service from the staff, e.g. they they offered to pick us up from the bus stop when arriving (and drive us there when leaving). The pool area was opened some days in advanced of the scheduled 15 May. This was very popular among the children and youts in our company.

United KingdomWe got a room with a kitchenette so we could make our dinner to save a bit of money but there were limited resources e.g., no lighter for the gas hob which had a burn mark on the wall so we were apprehensive to even use it, also no washing up brush/liquid to clean the plates.
It was a big room with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom and as we went in September the village was quite quiet.

United KingdomThere was a few ants found near one of the windows. Also on the listing it stated the room had a hair dryer which was not the case so this did cause inconvenience during our stay as we did not bring one from home. The bed only has a sheet on for a blanket which was fine however due to the air con we did find it to be a little cold in the night so a thicker blanket would have been nice to have available alongside the extra pillows offered. We paid to have breakfast one morning which cost €10 each, which isn’t an outrageous cost but we felt for what the offering was didn’t match what we had paid.
Having read the reviews of this property prior to our arrival we were a little worried about what to expect when we arrived. When we arrived we were pleased with our bungalow, don’t get me wrong it’s not a five star resort but the reviews we read made it out to be run down and dirty which is not the case. The bungalow was a good size with a balcony which had an amazing view of the sea and sunset in the evenings. The bungalow was clean and in good condition, minor faults like some chips in the paint work but nothing of significance to effect our stay. The bungalow has air-con throughout the property which was very effective and was controlled by remote. Not long after our arrival the light bulb did go in the bathroom, we called reception and someone came within 5 minuets and quickly resolved the issue. The complex has free wifi all around the facilities which having read a previous review stated it did not have wifi. Our bungalow did have a kitchenette but we did not use this during our stay so I am unable to comment on this facility but looked to have everything you would need to cook at the property. It was no problem for us but it is worth noting that depending on your mobility levels there can be quite a few steps to the bungalows depending on what level you are on. Property is a 10 minute walk to the train station where you can easily use the public transport to get around between Naples and Sorrento.

United KingdomThe room and crockery were a bit dirty when we arrived. Also the room is supposed to be cleaned after a week but we just had a pile of clean sheets but no actual cleaning.
The location was lovely and the layout of the hotel with the rooms on different levels was pretty. Our room was compact but fine and the balcony was a good space for eating. The free shuttle back from the beach was much appreciated as it is a hike back up especially for little legs. The pools were good, possibly a bit small for older children, but the slides would entertain most. Also a small play area, table tennis and trampolines provided some fun. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the bar/restaurant was tasty although the menu was limited. We enjoyed getting pizza from a local pizzeria to eat on the balcony. The beaches are nice but be prepared to pay as the public ones are tiny.

DenmarkThe size and location of the bungalows varies a lot. Initially, we got a one room bungalow for 4 persons (around 12 square meter) with a very small balcony (shared with the neighbor bungalow) - no privacy at all. We paid 30 euro/night extra and upgraded to a nice 2 room bungalow with kitchen and a more private balcony.
The Bleu Village is close to a little public Beach and offer free transportation to larger beaches. The swimmingpool and evening activities are great for a family with kids.
