By its location, it is a little walk to the main road but staff were happy to help with bags. It’s not a negative, just something to be aware.

We had a room on the third floor, which didn’t have such a good view of the river, just a small side window on the balcony, so more of a quick glance than a “view”. Other rooms on the second floor had a direct view and a balcony - which we thought we were getting but we didn’t.

The location was fantastic, a few steps away from The Ganges and close to all the main riverside sights. Comfortable room and bed, quieter than we expected at night. Helpful staff that met our car on the main road and helped take our luggage to and from the hotel.

Hospitality and kindness of the staff was really on the level. They care about guests and their comfort. It is clean small family hotel with professional approach. Rooms were generous in size and service was really good.

Slight issue with the room we thought we were getting with the one we got. There was a mishap with the booking that meant the pictures didn't coincide, but at the end of the day the room we got was very pleasant.

The location is one hundred per cent worth it; it is right next to the Ganges, and it is super comfortable to move around Varanasi. The staff are on top of everything, especially Vinod. They were super polite, helpful and informative.

The bathroom could be cleaner. Even though the location was impeccable, we found that the place was overpriced. I read in other comments that the food is amazing, however what we experienced was different. The food was freshly cooked yet nothing special and the portions were rather small. Our room was spacious but because many of the furniture were placed randomly, we found that it was lacking functionality and practicality. Lastly, the owner was nice and welcoming, however sounded a little pushy at times. For example, he asked me to rate the hotel right in front of him during my check-out. You can politely say that you are tired and you would rather rate it later on.

The location is unbeatable - it's hovering above Ganges. The terrace offers an incredible view of the holy river. The staff were nice but especially Suvash (I hope I remember his name correctly) was incredibly accommodating, polite and kind. They have room service up until 9 in the evening. Even though we didn't take those, they were offering boat tours, yoga classes and ayurverdic massages. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.

We have been given a room at the ground floor which has been very dark and damp. We have been offered another room on the next day, for some extra charge of course. The hotel was never fully booked. Was it on purpose? Other than that it has been a nice stay.

The good experience started with the suttle provided by them, the drive picked us in the air port. I strongly recommend to book this service, mainly because the VARANASI is not easy city to other drivers find the hotel. The location is right in front of the gange river, we got a room with balcony and river front. They have excellent kitchen available. Room is very confy with heater for cold nights

Nothing about the guesthouse itself. Just that the sunset boat trip we booked through them was rather more expensive than if we'd booked a boat directly ourselves (we only discovered this afterwards).

Incredible location, right on the river in the middle of the main ghats, walking distance from all the main sights of Varanasi. Yet also very peaceful inside despite its central location. Great roof terrace on which you can have breakfast overlooking the Ganges below. Our room was very comfortable, with really comfy beds, and even had a heater which was very welcome on the cooler winter nights. Friendly staff, and they were also flexible with our booking when our dates changed slightly. They also arranged a car to meet us from the airport. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Varanasi.

The steep stairs, one floor is like 2 floors in the western houses 😀. The high ceilings look awesome though.

Beautifully decorated heritage building with all the modern amenities! The narrow streets that the hotel is on give you an authentic Varanasi feeling. It’s a short walk (can be confusing though the first time) from the main road or Dashaswamedh ghat.

Bathpub did not work very well.

The styling and the personel let it feel like a house, a lot of people living there., not like a Hotel. So, guest house is the right description. I can recommend the JYOTITOURS INDIA and Ms Jwota, who where also a part of the hotel and offered a awesome walking tour through Varanasi.

Instead of Gang view you’ll see a trash bin view with the cows eating from it 😅 Also, my room was too close to the reception, so it was too noisy in the morning

In between meals, the table was not cleared. Room linen and room cleaning were not done for 2 days and neither did they bother to check. I felt like the cook could have been more co-operative. He was very rigid on timelines even when he knew I had an early start to the day. Also, when I was flying out, I requested that instead of breakfast give me a simple lunch but he didn't bother to consider my request. He instead gave me sandwiches. The manager there Mr Shyam is very helpful and affable.

The location of the guest house is lovely. Bang on the Mansarovar Ghat with a view of the Ganga. There is a balcony facing the river front with a net to keep away monkeys. It's very safe. I travelled alone and it was fine. There are 2-3 rooms on every floor with a dining table outside.

Inclusive breakfast needed much to be desired. Also one inhouse guide sent us to purchase saree at some interior shops by telling us that she is sending us to factory of sarees was very undesirable and waste of time. (Probably she was expecting commission from the sellers).

The room we booked was on the ground floor, so there was no real view. If you stand at the window and look in the right spot you can see a wee bit of the river. The upper floors all have great views. The bathrooms are below the standard expected by the higher price point of the hotel (basic wet room). Unfortunately, we found the owner very pushy about food and tours and a little rude. He was also relentless about us posting a review, which was awkward. At the end of our stay, they booked us a taxi. Unfortunately, the driver was TERRIBLE. We felt unbelievably unsafe with his driving, and there were no seat belts. More care should be taken in the choosing of taxi drivers for guest safety.

The location and building are awesome. Breakfast is also great. Comfy bed and good shower. The staff were fantastic, besides the owner.

Overall the place was fine

The place was clean and comfortable. The location was a little way off track, our room did not have a direct view of the river from the balcony, but more of a side view, overall I was happy with the hotel. Our airport pickup was 40mins late.
