We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

CanadaAnand Kanan is a very serene place to stay. Located near Dashashwamedha Ghat, it is a great place to stay for morning aarthi. Very helpful staff, who helped us move our luggage to the taxi stand. Food service was great, we dined in the hotel most nights.

IrelandIf you’re hitting the ghats and you want a bed that feels like it’s The Ritz, this is your place. Arvind, the main man, is in reception nearly all day keeping a close eye on quality and guest experience. He will regale you on Hinduism or chat about other things as you like. Arvind was a long time in Seattle USA, so he gets the Western traveller. I wanted to bring the bed home. It was that good. The staff are very helpful and the food was tasty. You’re only 3 minutes walk from one of the two most important ghats in Varanasi.

Located in the heart of Varanasi's historic district, the hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Ganga and the vibrant ceremonies that take place there. Despite being nestled in the city's narrow, bustling streets, the hotel is a tranquil and spotless. The staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. A special mention goes to Arvind, whose wisdom and experience greatly enriched my stay. He generously shared his deep knowledge of Hindu and Buddhist cultures, guiding me to appreciate and understand the local traditions on a much deeper level. I am immensely grateful for this unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

United KingdomI cannot think of anything I did not like during my stay at Anand Kanan. Even the little alleys in the neighbourhood which felt a bit eerie and deserted over the night when we were walking towards the hotel, became very lively and felt much safer during the day.
I liked the location and the proximity to many sights we planned to visit. Almost everything was in walking distance from the hotel. I appreciated a lot the cleanliness of the room and how spacious the room was. The facilities were all great and the stuff very friendly and happy to help us with everything we needed. Me and my friends were allowed to leave our luggages after checking out in order to stroll around the city until the time of our flight. This was very much appreciated and made us feel very welcomed.
