Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe staff all around without any expectations were not nice, helpful or professional in any way, especially not for a 5 star level they are claiming to be. The food wasn't great at all as you normally expect from hotels in Israel.
The spa was great and the room was very clean

United KingdomWould have been good to have been able to contact Booking.com
The problem was with Booking.com, we booked for 2 persons one room for 17,000 Nis. Then when we checked in it came up as only one guest. So we had to go way above budget and pay another 500 Nis. I could not contact you. So that was a bad start.

IsraelIt is denied to take children to a pool with salt. The air conditioner in the room was switch off twice a day. When I asked to fix it I was waiting 2 hours in a room with high temperature. Am The water in the bathroom collected on the floor in huge puddles. Hence the musty smell. When i bought ice cream at the pool shop they "forgot" to return the change.
One nice big pool and good food.

NetherlandsSome facilities were closed or N/A (main swimmingpool closed, minibar). Some information was incorrect. Iit is called room with Seaview but it should be view with parkinglot/other hotels/MC Donald/sea. The opposite hotel has a generator/compressor which makes so much noise that a balconyvisit is not relaxing. The fitness looks complete but has only 4 different machines. The hotel says it is located within 50 meters of the beach. But the walking distance is 400 meters. The bedlinnen was worn. Some staff don't speak English or don't know simple words like menucard. I staid at almost Ein Bokek hotels, but this was the most dissapointing one.
Great inside garden, nice in/outside saltwaterbad. Nice looking hotel. The security at the entrance was professional.

United States of AmericaBroken bathroom hardware. Unavailable staff, valet/porter were unavailable (and it wasn’t busy), they didn’t give us the room with accommodations requested in our reservation until we complained loudly, a definite language barrier at the front desk. I realize I’m in a foreign country but they’ve stacked this hotel to deal more with their Slavic guests.
The spa and restaurant were quite nice

United States of AmericaCheck-in was slow (15+ minutes) and disorganized. The rooms are aging and worn. Our air conditioner didn't work.
The hotel was well situated, a 3-5 minute walk to a well-furnished public beach. Meals had many great options. Large pool for families and also adults-only pool.

United States of AmericaOur first impression was when we arrived and momentarily parked in the drive to check in. We were asked, somewhat rudely, not to leave the car there even for a few moments. This is rather odd, and made a poor first impression. Check-in involved a lengthy line at an understaffed counter, but we eventually got our room assignment and key cards. Next, we went looking for someplace to eat dinner. The buffet restaurant that hosts the breakfast in the mornings was available, but they had no arrangements to pay at the location. Instead it was necessary to pay at the front desk, get a voucher, and come back downstairs to the restaurant, where they'd seat you. This is odd to say the least. Most hotels would've allowed this to be charged to the room or a card or paid in cash at the restaurant. Many of the staff were less than accommodating and even sometimes rude. To our surprise, many of these workers in this hotel catering to international visitors spoke only Hebrew, some Russian, and broken English. The notable exception was the Filipino guest workers who were very polite and helpful. The pool deck area was disorganized and not clean. Public restrooms were not well maintained or serviced frequently enough. Poolside services were poor to non-existent. There were many situations in which my wife and I could only exchange glances and marvel at their lack of grasp of the most basic hospitality industry etiquette and organization.
Overall, a decent facility. The proximity to (what's left of) the dead sea at Ein Bokek requires a short walk - not bad, but not right on the "shore". The pools are decent, but not exceptional; not at the level expected for a property of this kind. The breakfast buffet was quite good, with a wide variety of foods that seemed to be pretty fresh. One oddity was that there were cordoned off areas of tables and it was sometimes difficult to find a place at the tables that weren't cordoned off. The facility itself seemed reasonably well maintained.

IsraelThe transportation shuttle was never on time I walked to the beach twice, most people walked. It was not Convenient, beach to far not to have efficient shuttle service It would be horrible for someone disabled The beach water was muddy not full of salt like the other beach front waters. Need more salt close to the shore. It would be a bonus if you could give those who check in in late like after 7:00 a late check out the next morning So the can have atleast one of the hours they lost. Curtains in the room were very dusty windows should be kept clean.
The breakfast was exceptionally good very tasty great variety clean, great service. The Spa was exceptionally great clean, spacious Show was very great entertainment. Staff was Very polite overall. The atmosphere decor very beautiful .

Half of the hotel pools not working. Some loudy device, like engine, working whole night just next the hotel Reflextor shining to the room balcony over whole night

IsraelVery poor service. No bar in the room, 2 small old towels, no bath robs, no slippers. TV did not work. We gave to go to the spa to leave deposit for the bath robs. The staff was trying to help us, but the level of service is far from the world standards. And it was definitely overpriced. For 350 dollars per night, with Israeli high taxes you would expect much better level o1f service, trained, polite staff and better accommodation.
The hotel is beautiful, but old and poorly maintained. Location is wonderful, rooms are big.

United States of AmericaThe location is across the street from the sea. It was hard to go up the hill back to the hotel, especially when it's very hot outside.
