The private pool, the staff were excellent the place was so clean everyday and the breakfasts were delicious.The Staff get my biggest vote, so friendly and helpful and able to help with anything you need.

Ambary House is ideally situated just behind the busy part of Gili Trawangan near the port. The facilities were excellent with comfortable bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms - complete with goldfish! - and a beautiful pool. The Adi and Alex came to meet us from the port and were so helpful as was Ayip. Breakfast which had a good menu, was delivered freshly cooked every day to our accommodation. My son and I thoproughly enjoyed our stay at Ambary house and would recommend it to others.

Amazing Villa with amazing service! Ade helped us get some bikes and cycled with us around the island and showed us the coolest sunset spot! Such a great host, breakfast was also really good! The villa is a couple minutes walk to the main strip so you can't go wrong! We had an issue with the aircon but this was immediately fixed - so all in all we were happy with our stay.

Nothing we could have stayed here forever

The property had everything you needed and was cleaned to a very high standard. The breakfast was amazing and support staff could not be more helpful arranging trips and bikes - they are a huge credit and made such an impact.

I don't even know where to start because this was so far the best stay we've been at! We got picked up at the harbour by 2 staff members and they escorted us to the villa which was a short walk - they helped us with our luggage too. The kindness of the staff deserves a big 10. We rented a bike for a couple of days directly via the staff and they made sure all was safe 24h! We also had a unforgettable private boat trip for the best price, also arranged by the staff. Comfort in the villa was exceptional not to forget about the AMAZING breakfast we got every morning. Very highly recommend to stay here and will definitely come back! Thanks so much. PS. I even forgot a phone and a ring, which one of the staff members brought to Ubud where we were staying after. Can't say thanks enough to you legends!

The only small details that could be improved regards the bathroom: the water from the shower is not coming very warm and the room gets pretty humid, which is not optimal. Anyway, we were very happy with our choice and we definitely recommend!

We were two couples and this place was just perfect! The staff is amazing. The guys are always there to help with everything (from organizing trips like snorkeling to help with luggage both when we arrived and left). The breakfast was included and prepared on the spot. We could chose among many tasty options. The house is just outside the mess and loudness of the main road, which means it's easy to go everywhere but the place is also quiet. Everything was very clean and they were asking us everyday if cleaning was needed. The common area (outside the 2 rooms) and the pool were always kept clean. The house was furnished with everything: hairdryer, towels (also for the swimming pool), coffee, tea, antimosquito cream and spray, etc. The beds were comfortable and there was a "net"/curtain to protect the bed from mosquitos.

We experienced a couple of power cuts and the villa doesn't have a generator which wasn't great. Although expected on a small island they lasted a little longer than hoped, but not a massive issue.

The villa was stunning, with a nice layout and the Arief the host were amazing. The little fishes through was a nice unique touch.

A little outdated. Needed some fresh paint, fix things and clean up. Then the place would really be worth it!
