Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Poland2 showers for all guests? an absurd. Plus it's not included in the price ant there is no clock to see 5min time of shower usage. Accommodation prices for Olympic Games were skyrocketing....
Hotel in perfect location, really close to metro station. Hotel itself very clean and nice, rooms as well, but a bit tiny. Tasty breakfast - typical French breakfast based on croissants, jams, coffee, juice mostly

United KingdomNot enough pillows for me.
Great quiet hotel, traditionally charming with very lovely staff. We speak decent French and made an effort, but they do speak some English as well. We read reviews prior to coming and got a little scared, but it's nice rooms and breakfast is good. No tvs or restaurant, but we were in Paris for the Olympics so didn't really care. We had a room with a bathroom, which was on the street so a little noisy sometimes, but we took earplugs because August in Paris is always going to be hot and you are going to want the windows open. We used their dining room for dinner a few times and bought our own food in. I would stay again without hestitation. Location was fantastic for transport options and not as hectic as other bits of Paris. Room was clean and tidy and functional, bed was comfy. I'd liked not having to worry about my key when out.

Saudi ArabiaThe room was tiny and looked out unto the rear. You have to go down two floors in a towel with women and men staring at you, until you find the shower. The shower costs €3 euro for 5 minutes, with no soap.
The location in the 5th arrondissement is amazing. It is close to the Jardan De Luxembourg.

Nice location, friendly hotel, good value but room small, awkward en suite and loo with sliding door , bedside table loose, no fan so window open with noise BUT traditional French family hotel with nice helpful staff, clean, comfortable enough and suited our short stay for olympics

IrelandVery warm in summer, at least should have a fan in the room. I know we can open the window, but it didn't help, and mosquito will come inside at night. It's unreasonable and mean to charge for shower, it's already 2024... This will only backfire your business.
Great location, very close to the subway, surrounded by loads of good food, chill cafe, nice environment, safe neighbourhood. Clean room, enough space, friendly staff, detailed information.

IrelandIt felt more like a hostel rather than a hotel. Having to share a bathroom and shower was frustrating at times especially when waiting. We heard a lot of noise during the late hours regardless of the hotel’s rule of keeping quiet after 9:00pm. No air conditioning in our room.
Hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was in a brilliant location, close to supermarkets, restaurants and several metro stations.

AustraliaPaying for showers, this was not clear on booking a room without private bathroom. Otherwise everything was perfect customer service was around the clock 24/7 this made it so easy to explore the city at whatever time we needed. The staff were so kind and welcoming and metro was just up the street. So accessible to beautiful Paris
Location was perfect and room was clean and big enough for the two of us. The large windows made sleeping at night so enjoyable so with fresh air coming in.

United KingdomA shame the hotel felt it necessary to charge an extra €10 per bike to keep our bikes in a courtyard overnight. And then asked for €2.50 each for tokens if we wanted a shower. Staff were pleasant but these add on charges were disappointing.
Staff were pleasant and hotel in a good location.
