To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Czech RepublicBreakfasts were modest a bit, but it was corresponding with the price level of the hotel. If I know, the French do not breakfast too much. Rooms smaller, but again, corresponding with the price level. Satisfactory.
Nice and convenient location, near unterground stop. A small family hotel, very quiet, good services. No problems. It is possible to store luggage on the day of departure free of charge.

OmanIt's a bit far from the attractions in Paris, so probably good for business trip but I'd rather book somewhere else for a holiday. The fact that you leave the keys with the reception all the time was odd. Rooms are separated by thin partitions so very easy to get distracted by other guests. Housekeeping is a must every day!!
The room is big and clean. Toilet is big with good bath and shower Some restaurants around was good too. Train station nearby made it easy to get around.

United States of AmericaMy only complaint is that I was across the hall from the bathroom and I could occasionally hear people use it during the night. But I wore earplugs and slept fine, despite being a light sleeper in general.
Really lovely single room occupancy hotel. Perfect for a traveler on a budget like me who wanted something that was a step up from hostels but didn’t need all the amenities of a 3 star hotel. Great value for money. Very clean. Check-in was easy and they explained the shared bathroom and shower situation. The location was great for getting to all the attractions of Paris, and the neighborhood had a number of amazing cafes and restaurants of its own. I would definitely stay here again!

Switzerland- The breakfast is rather poor. Specifically, there was white bread, jams, honey, simple croissants, yogurt and cereal (+milk). Nothing else for food. The good thing thou is a nice coffee machine where you can make different types of coffee and get hot water for the tea. - I had a room with a WC / shower >> I think the pipes were stuck so the water was not going away very well. - The mattress of the bed was not comfortable at all - I could feel a dim in place where everyone sleeps. Also, if you want quiet ask for the room whose windows face the inner yard. My windows where facing the street - even thou it is not the busiest street in Paris, I could not sleep with an open window as it was too loud during the night. And with a closed window I did not feel that the room had enough ventilation. So this was a bit of a struggle. Luckily I was staying during winter, when it is not hot. I cannot imagine how it is in summer, when it would not be possible to stay in a room with closed windows.
- Location is perfect! Really well connected with the rest of Paris via Metro (Line 7 "Les Gobelins" station in 3 min walk) and buses. Also, it is quite good if you are a walker as you can easily walk to Jardins du Luxembourg, Pantheon, Notre-dam-de-Paris and Seine. - Very nice and welcoming staff (also speaking in English) - The room was a decent size for Parisian standards - The area feels safe, there is McDonalds over the street and other restaurants / cafes
